Premiership 24/25 - Round 6

He really should've finished that
Like it was a great tackle from Green but he should've dived after that missed tackle on the touchline
Brown-Bampoe has raw talent, good tackler, powerful and quick. Yet position, decision making and experience are massively lacking...for obvious reasons. One for the future but has alot to develop

**** me! Clear yellow? Am I crazy he just knock the ball down with 1 fully stretched arm without the attempt of a tackle to hide it

Really disappointed with that and honestly I'm surprised they took Slade off, going forward in attack I thought we had more than previous weeks. Had a 9 10 12 13 combo that hadn't played together once with 9 and 13 not playing at all.

Why not start Skinner to steady the ship.

Don't think we deserved to lose but a deserved win by Quins

Top 4 at present seem to be opening a nice gap, early doors but just saying these could well be final top 4.
However sad for a fee of us.

has a pretty high ceiling but as you said has the raw athletic attributes but lacking some experience and rugby IQ, one to keep an eye on could well be one of those players that doesn't ever hit the heights his early career would suggest he's capable of, hes the same age as IFW who looks to be far more rounded, quite a bit to catch up on, not to mention utility he only plays wing IFW can play centre too.

Yeah, those 4 teams look strong so far. But you know what the Premiership is like. A team outside the top 4 could go on a ridiculous run in March and April and easily get in.

PBB looks like more of a rough diamond. I don't know his background in any detail, but from what I recall, he hasn't come through the same sort of academy/age grade routes, so he probably needs a bit of refinement. If he's a quick learner, he could close that gap.

IFW is also exceptionally good so he probably suffers by comparison too.

Exactly. With the exception of Falcons, any of the other 9 can beat each other.

A lot of Quins fans were writing off our season last week, but with that win we're back up to 5th and I wouldn't dismiss Saints or Sale from coming back from poor starts to the season.

Kudos to Skivington and Gloucester for being much more competitive this season.

There was a big feature on him in the Times last month.

You're right, and while he's got the physical attributes he's barely got any experience despite being older than IFW, who himself is exciting but far from the finished article.

We'll see how "intelligent " the lad is. He's got some serious physical skills. I saw him for the first time the other week at Kingston Park.

If he can develop as Waboso has...wow...he'll be a force. But he's come from the pirates and 7s i believe...so will take time to see what he can really become.

Only really missing 1/0 games he would probably have played in then I guess
Hard to tell - if it hadn't been for injuries, these are exactly the matches he would have expected to play. Don't expect him to get much game time after this block of matches either, so even with the injuries, he may well have played this block.
He's earned the right to defend his shirt, but you'd put money on Redpath and Lawrence keeping him out, and Ojomoh giving him a real fight for it - and I'm not sure that rotation would include more than 3 players for the centre berths.

After the start to the season Butt has had, I don't know how we keep all 4 of them happy in contract negotiations - let alone how we get Hennesey the gametime he deserves. Nice problem to have.

6 down to 3 down to 2 for Nye, no surprises there

Shame for him as he'd have likely started all three Prem Cup games, but he's gonna miss the first two and hopefully Raffi is back for/starting the third, hopefully a reminder to tackle lower next time
