Aviva Premiership - Round 21

Leicester have been absolutely fantastic today, but at the same time, come the **** on Wasps, how have they not made this advantage count? players like Hughs, Johnson, Daly, Wade and Takicakibau and they haven't looked like scoring a try in 27 minutes of 15 vs 14

Are there more Tigers fans in the stadium than Wasps?
They're about 10x louder than the Wasps lot!

Launchberry in the same pack as itoje would make a very intelligent pack. But light weight.

Will be weird after the players we've had for the last decade.

As long as it's one continuous movement without a break in momentum there is no time limit.

FFS I had an acca on that had Welsh losing by 42 or less - all other results went the right way apart from that :(

That's a big big win for Tigers.
Apparently 75% of the crowd are Tigers, so it's as much a home game for them as for Wasps

Mullan is having a good game in the scrum (again).

How is Masi back on? He went off with a leg injury
Did they play it off as a head injury assessment/blood sub so they could treat him during half time and see if he could come back on?

It was his leg he cut last week, Barnes checked it was bleeding under the bandage.

Fair enough!

I've just seen the Glaws score - that's really embarrassing for Not Nots considering they were a man up for an hour

Happy, very happy. Makes up for missing the Army Navy game this year

My weird fact of the day:
George Ford comes to all the Sale home games he can (even more so now that Joe is here) because he supported them as a kid.
He was at the game today despite playing the full 80 yesterday for Bath, and it being a (relatively) early kick off.

What a guy :D

Really?! that's pretty impressive to travel all the way from Bath

RE the Wasps/Tigers game, the Wasps front 5 (probably the whole pack tbf) got beasted around the field, I thought Tom Youngs and Dan Cole were immense- they'd be nailed on starters in my England team. I think Leicester may be dark horses for the final now (if Manu was returning I'd be even more confident in this assertion)- they'd best hope Bai doesn't cop a ban.
I think Norts have a bit of a soft underbelly and Tigers could do a number on them when (if) they meet in the semis (the pack will do a job on them imo)

I think Wasps miss Bradley Davies a lot, Myall and Gaskell are a pretty lightweight pairing- everyone had a bit of an off day really, Simspson injury didn't help (really hope that's not serious enough to keep him out for the summer) Laeua has been a bit dissapointing so far- I hope he improves with a run of games next season-

I would say 7 out of 8 got beasted - Hughs deserves a mention for standing out, he carried fairly well, not great by his own standards but good by normal standards, especially among a pathetic pack; and he had some great work over the ball, at least 2 turnovers if I recall.

Leicester worried me yesterday, they did look like a team who were ready to thrive in the playoffs. It is the only time they've looked like that all season though, and they were galvanised by a new "derby" rivalry and by the red card, and it was against a team who didn't turn up. I'm not sure I can see them producing that level of performance again, although you never know with Leicester, do you...?

That is so brilliant! What an absolute and total legend!

Just seen Kvesic's red card offence.

That's very, very harsh - I don't see how you could reasonably expect the outcome from his actions?
There was no lifting.

Itoje has been dominant, looks ahead of Ewers already. Still see him as a 6 long term for England though, although Lawes needs to start performing properly again to solidify his place long term.
