Premiership 24/25 - Round 7

Exeter have done way better than I expected but just missing that final few percent - like final passes being a bag of spanners, poor penalties etc

Couple of Bath fans determined that Hill was " no foul play" because an inside defender, moving forwards and making contact with the ball carrier in an attempt to stop their forward momentum isn't a tackle.
And if there's no tackle, you're allowed to hit people in the head.
And therefore no foul play, and no yellow card...

Sounds like they need a HIA

So basicly your saying we are England, get close but are found wanting, do good stuff but our attack looks abit weak and we only win against second tier teams?

What's up with saints
Was a very mixed team (some third choices in there), then F Smith went off in the first 10 minutes. Then Hendy had to go off and we had a random looking backline out and there was just no continuity for the first half. Lots of missed passes and just not great shape in attack (going wide too early etc).

Second half was a different story but just couldn't get over the white line. Mitchell brought brilliant shape and looked in good form already but Gloucester played hard and we just couldn't find that final pass.

We looked like a team that hadn't played together in a long time.

Prem table on the app have Chiefs points wrong! They havnt give us a LBP...we need that point! :)

In all seriousness why do they not show or have an option of the full table with all stats like points for/against, tries ect.

I've just watched that and thought it was no more than a "rugby incident"

Looks like the guy completely unexpectedly step back inside and it's his head that initiates the contact.

IMO, there's zero Hill can do so what's achieved by carding him?

Might be wrong, but feel leicester are getting the benefit of the doubt on a lot of these.
Think they're fair penalties but he could be a bit more sympathetic with some, like players trying to roll but being trapped and the first scrum penalty could've been a reset due to poor turf

Don't know why we've started Rodd when he's been out for almost three months, he's definitely the kind of player that needs to grow into his form

That is more what I am meaning, feels like a lot of those ruck pens are a bit unavoidable and could be dealt with a bit more sympathetically, agree on first scrum penalty, that feels like a decision where he had reset it twice already and felt he had to make a decision.

Feels like Joe Heyes has really finally had his breakout season this year only 25 but already got a lot of experience finally seems to have overtaken Cole
