Premiership 24/25 - Round 7

Kinda wondering how teams will adapt to avoid those because refs have been given clear instructions to watch for it.

I've always been a big proponent of letting the ball go if it's available at the scrum, but considering how the previous scrums have been reffed....

I guess tell players not to walk towards the catcher if they want to walk then go away

It's dumb though
That just feels not feasible though... need to move back so you arent offside, if you know your player is coming forward and you arent anywhere near him why are you going to sprint... all that will happen is more seeking out a man to run into.

But I guess isn't that just being a lazy runner? Why not just walk away from the kicker if you are wanting to walk?

On paper I can see what they are wanting to do to stop players congesting the space Between the teams

Maybe, or just smart if you arent actualy impacting play.

On paper yeah, but when a player isnt anywhere near the reciever... just asking for players to take the **** when really we want to avoid the footballification fo trying to milk decisions.

What a turn around, didnt expect this outcome after the first 10.

Tom roebuck is elite, wonder if borthwick dreams of him, freeman and steward back 3 and just kicking everything as high as possible.
