PREM 25/26 - Round 7

Think you'll put in an offer again for LRZ at £750k for 3 years?

Might be an expensive recruitment given owners, location, coaching staff, etc. I think looking for solid players and potentials then building up, slowing forming an identity would be the way to go.

TBH I reckon today went better than expected for Newcastle. Might need less overhaul than you think?

Next week's looks great
1st vs 3rd
2nd vs 4th
5th vs 10th and 6th vs 9th meaning any bad games above could move them out of the top 4
Then 7th vs 8th as a nice little mid table battle.
Yeah, the table will be very interesting.

Bristol have Sale after which are traditionally a bogey side and the result will likely see us in Top4 and serious contenders or potentially out.

Hopefully have a couple of players back as well. Imagine Randall & Worsley start v Red Falcons then Marmion & Jordan swap in for Sale. Mata back, etc.

Watching the replay of Quinstaninople as I have a free afternoon and enjoying it almost as much as this weekend.

Theres a massive overhaul needed...
Every area of the team just begs for players.

But i agree, its not about bringing in a ton of mega name signings, its being clever and bringing the right players in.

What a signing Tm Christie is though. Sheer Kiwi class. Captain next season without a doubt.

lol, you'll put three figures on us without breaking a sweat
You know not the trauma of long-standing Bristol supporters.

Genuinely. I am very nervous about the match and if we manage to get a win I'll be thrilled. It's not often we beat Sale, away or getting nilled by you at home for our "festive" feature. There's no team we fear more when it comes to getting a result, to be honest.

Just looking up stat sites... Since our 20 all draw in 2019, Sale have won 11 and Bristol have won 4. The last win for Bristol was almost two years ago to the day, after a head to head streak of 5 wins for Sale, and Sale have won the last two outings since, including the aforementioned nilling.

You can prove anything with stats :P

Just feels like the trajectory of the two sides is a complete mirror, and that's before we lost half the squad to injury
Hoping Carpenter or Luke James will be back by then but the clubs gone silent on injury returns on certain players which makes me think they're much more serious than first thought
