RBS 6 Nations - Ireland vs Wales - (05/02/2012 -15:00)

Oh wait, we are playing Wales next.

Fffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu**********************cccccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk............

If they hit this, Ferris will have to be on the first ferry leaving Dublin I think.

Think Barnes has more to fear there.

Ireland should be looking at their tackling first and foremost though.

Think it depends which side the ref was on - from behind it wasn't a penalty at all, but from the otherside it looked worse than it was as Evans was bending forwards so it looked he was tipped further.

Wales have won it though!
Well done, think they deserved it.

Not liking this booing all over the park.

Kidney out. We can talk all we like about tip tackles and the like, but this game was lost tactically. Who's idea was it to kick all that ball away?

The worst thing is that I'm not even mad. It's gotten to the stage where I'm incredibly apathetic about the national team.

Excellent game. Hugely exciting. Overall I think Wales was the better team, but ultimately that wasn't a penalty at the end, and Bradley should have seen the red card, so I feel very sorry for our Irish neighbours.

Very much agreed.

We have a decent reputation in Ireland for respecting the kicker...you could hear a pin drop at our club games.. but when you get at the national level you get a big pile of ****wankers who have no idea how the game is played or what it means to be a ****ing sportsman or decent supporter

****

Well that's me surprised. Well done Wales. At last they have seen out a close game.
Cracking game from both teams.

Those one-leg tackles are always extremely risky unfortunately. The other leg always goes up for balance.

Oh, and to the ***** that booed that last kick, don't bother coming back, you're not wanted.

i want Wayne Barnes's head, not a yellow, not a penalty and yellow before should have been a red

Lads fair play to Wales.
It didn't seem like much but according to letter of law it was a penalty and in saying that I don't blame loss on Ferris. We had poor gameplan and well overall Welsh deserved to shade it.

Now you know what it feels like to be English.

Ferris took a risk with that tackle, exactly what you don't do in that situation. Silly play. Obviously wasn't Barnes' fault for the Bradley Davies incident, his touch judge bottled it.

Let's not go round pointing fingers at others, Ireland lost this game all on their own.

Shush; referees word is the Law, even though he might have been wrong. Ireland didn't deserve it, Wales did.

Special mentions for Rhys Gill and Tipuric for playing very well in high intensity situations for the first time.
