A competent coach would have realised these things before the game. Time to change. O'Callaghan was quite good bt he's yesterday's man. D'arcy is yesterday's man. Reddan is yesterday's man. Get them out of the team and squad. Stop kicking so much. Murray (who had his best game for Ireland) and Sexton were clearly playing to a 10 man gameplan.Anyone think Ryan made big impact on game for Ireland and well Ireland management need to now realise 2 things.
1. Pick players on form
2. Use a gameplan that get best out of players eg Leinster backs aren't on form playing territory game.
The only changes next week will be Earls for McFadden, O'Gara for Sexton and maybe Ryan for O'Callaghan. Ireland need to be bolder than that. I'd go with:
Kearney, Bowe, O'Malley, McFadden, Earls, Sexton, Murray; Healy, Best, Ross, Ryan, O'Connell, Ferris, O'Brien, Heaslip. Cronin, Court, Tuohy, O'Mahony, Marshall (maybe), O'Gara, Trimble.
You have 7 men on the bench who can make an impact. Use them!
Good luck to Wales. I hope they win a Grand Slam. Four wins or more in the tournament is easily achieveable. It's amazing what an attacking game plan can do.
