[June Tests 2018: 3rd Test] South Africa vs. England (23/06/2018)

Think we actually played quite well. Think Sam Simmonds could shine when he comes on.

Aye, he's been excellent in the prem but EJ is hellbent on having him be Binny mk 2 when that's not the game he plays.
Doesn't excuse his terrible rucking and carrying today, but he's definitely been used poorly by Eddie.

TBF pretty every team at international uses their 8 like Eddie does, they need to be a trucker.
Trouble is England have fek all options in that department outside Binny.

They need to be a heavy carrier, sure, but I don't think many send their 8s into brick walls as often as we do. Especially from a standstill.
The Faletaus and Reads of the world don't carry like this, their coaches use their strengths and adapt their plans to them

He's probably struggled for form most of the season injury's haven't helped him, he is no Billy but that isn't really his game plan. First game it that actually looks like a test, shame about the conditions.

Ben Youngs was terrible in the 1st half, can only get better hopefully. Cips giving quick ball when he has the chance and Curry looked impressive. Classic, boring test match rugby really.

I'm super happy to not be at the game.

Assuming the weather is similar to stellenbosch humans weren't designed to be out in this.
