2/10 is abit high for Ewels
He didn't trip over his laces running onto the pitch, tbf to himEngland player ratings vs Japan: One flop scores 2/10 as three men impress

I can guarantee that isn't going to factor into selection at all.A bit of a problem v NZ in second row.
Ewels obviously will cop a decent ban .
Maro only a few mins of playing time left.
Guess management on phone for a call up.
Martin and Coles only ones left unless CCS or Dombrant going to play 2nd row.
Underhill only getting 7 is more scandalous.England player ratings vs Japan: One flop scores 2/10 as three men impress

Maro only has 40 odd minutes of playing time before he hits 2400 mins and has to be stood down.I can guarantee that isn't going to factor into selection at all.
After the preliminary squads I'd guess (and hope) that Rusi's getting a call up.
Think we'll see:
4. Itoje
5. Martin
19. Coles
for the remaining tests. Which is a very a strong set of locks IMO.
Define "has to be stood down" - it's not the impressions we've been given at any point.Maro only has 40 odd minutes of playing time before he hits 2400 mins and has to be stood down.
Agreed, all would have been thrashed out and agreed before leaving England. If the England management had any intention of adhering to the 2400 minute rule then there's no way they'd have played Itoje against Japan.
Just thought it was a set in stone protocol as ,the rest periods.Define "has to be stood down" - it's not the impressions we've been given at any point.
There's negotiation between RFU and PRL about players who exceed; circumstances around, extra rest after going over, that sort of thing.

I think Martin and Cole's actually compliment each other really well. Cole's is in brilliant form as well.A bit of a problem v NZ in second row.

With him offering 80mins today I'd be almost as surprised if he didn't start and finish both tests.Has to or "has" to?
I'd be very surprised if he doesn't start both ABs tests
I'd have thought at most he'd have gone off at half time this game, it's stupid to use minutes he doesn't have on a team that are already beat.Has to or "has" to?
I'd be very surprised if he doesn't start both ABs tests
That factor would have been negotiated out before they left England. They are blatantly going to ignore this Maro minutes factor
