TBH Healy has improved his whole game so much. He is now a competent scrummager, his penalty count at rucks and in open play has decreased massively, his rucking is very competitive and he even more of a powerful runner. I am not saying he is the greatest prop in the world but he is still young and if continues to play like this I have no problem with him as our first choice LH.

Agee with people saying he's improved a lot as a scrummager it's not a secret that I'm a fan of him. Rate him very highly. He was part of a Leinster scrum that apart from one half didn't get dicked by anyone and the list of tightheads he's done well against is very impressive.

Like I said, he's a poor mans Sheridan

Scrum holds up when he's with a decent tighthead, is a powerful runner (though Big Ted is powerfuller) but as a scrummaging prop ain't too great

So why dissagree with me? I just said hes the weakest scrummager you have at the moment. Hes not as agressive and destructive as the likes of Stevens. Of course he can scrummage but not at the same standard. With that in mind teams with weaker scrummages like Ireland and Australia would prefer to play against him.

I disagree because Cole is by no means the worst scrummager we have at the moment, he is equal to stevens and far better then corbs, he clearly has shown this by as i said beating the french, AB, and aussie front rows aswell as a second string welsh one. He was destructive enough to win 2 penaltys against the AB

To be fair to Corbisiero - he isn't a tighthead

He's had to fill in there due to injury, but he's a loosehead first and foremost, and he's done fairly well at #1, holding his own against Castro for example

Olly will you ever **** off with your opinion of Healy being a poor mans Sheridan "there similar scrummagers but Sheridan is strong and Healy's fast so Sheridan is better" that would make them equals by calcuations. Also despite being a small prop Healy is a tank has great gym scores and his arms are bigger than my head and probably my chest (and I'm not exactly a midget). He's incredibly dynamic for a prop, really important to Ireland's defense which is a very very good defense, does a lot of work at the breakdown and is a very competent scrummager. A good tighthead wouldn't make him suddenly good just make the overall scrum better if you have a good tighthead and a **** loosehead the loosehead's side will get dicked however often enough Healy's side goes forward.

I'm not saying he's the greatest ever at a push he might barely make my top 5 looseheads in the world but he's not worse than Sheridan. It's good to get it all out. Though I'm sure you'll make me need to reply.

Seriously? But you're also the guy who think's PO'C isn't that good.

Yeah Olly! All of our players are amazing! It's just been poor form for the last two bloody years, duh.

/sarcasm.

Right when did I say all our players are amazing please point it out. I said it's incredibly unfair to say Healy's worse than Sheridan using the reason he's a poor mans Sheridan which pretty much equates to because I said so.

Ireland need to win this one or their confidence is going to be so low for the world cup that italy could be tough

stevens isn't that amazing a scrummager. we can't really judge him against a 2nd string Welsh front row.

Cole's pushed everyone in the world around, fact. Arguably not Healy for both Leicester and England, but when Healy's been shoved through his arsehole by everyone else you've got to question something there.

Healy has gotten very good since last season. He is young still for a prop and having Mike Ross there helps him too. They got the better of the French scrum on saturday.

Sheridan has deadlifted 320 KG:D

I don't get all this talk about Sheridan being a weak scrumager. The scrum is as effective as the weakest person in it yet it's always the biggest prop that gets the blame. I can't ever remember Sheridan getting destroyed at test level but we all know he likes to eat Australian props and the odd south African (I'm looking at you smit)

i bet tony buckley has some impressive gym stats
but it dosnt make him good!!!!

there really not the same style prop.
if anything there both eknowned for there non set piece play dosnt mean they are bad at the set piece though

At the end of the day if someone asked me who would you like to play for your team on CURRENT form Healy or Sheridan I would pick Healy but that's just my opinion.

Understandable...as sheridans not played properly since the six nations Wales match. Did anyone remember the Samoa game last November when ted ran into his opposite number and gave him concussion? He stumbled about before falling over and he was around 21 stone. I want that ted in new Zealand.
