Log not getting in to arguing so will put it simply.

1. People are just saying Heaslip has been poor compared to usual standards and well hopes he picks it up. If you think he's going well then you've no worries.

2. Nobody said Earls would/should get a start as everyone has said Trimble earned his jersey. People just said it's been unlucky that he hasnt got much gametime on the wing and well versatility hurt him.

3. And lastly I understand you bias to Leinster but why would Jennings earn a spot in 22 after choking in all his previous outings in green and not been able to earn a spot in regular squad. Jennings is a specialist 7 but not up to international standard.

Must be said i do think you're somewhat overstating Jennings' poor form in green. He's only played 10 games for Ireland spread inconsistently over 5 years. He really hasnt been given enough of a chance to say he cant play for Ireland. we know he's a good openside and is definitely international quality.

When did he have a major slip in form? Not looking for an arguement as its not a selection debate but hes been playing pretty well for the start of the season. Did no one notice the difference when he came on against France? I thought he had a pretty big impact. Compare him to Leamys performances and you cant question his form at all.

Feel he's been very inconsistent at international level all season, compared to before when he always put in a good shift and often an excellent one. You make a fair point about France, no questioning it. I'm certainly not advocating dropping him for Leamy.

Yes but he's been in and out of training camps and well would've earned more caps if he was cutting it at international level. So I don't think I'm overstating it. The last cap against France highlights this perfectly as he looked out of his comfort zone in a big way.

Peat I agree 100% in that statement and likewise I'm not calling for Heaslip to be dropped or anything but agree he hasn't had consistent form for last 12 months.

As for Log, between this and the RWC thread you really are a disgrace of an Irish supporter and well I'd say a major letdown on Leinster's supporters buty well that is unfairly labelling them. Maybe you should just send the Leinster team over and see how they cope. Kidney gave everyone a chance and well your calling him bias in his selections yet the players he cut were dropped because they simply got outplayed and couldn't cut it at the camp or in games. And well it is jokes like you that aren't Irish supporters but jokes and well give other fans - good fans who talk sense a bad name. I couldn't care where the player comes from as long as he performs for Ireland. Trimble is a player I don't like much but will be happy to see him ahead of Earls as he has earned his shirt but likewise if Earls is in I'll be happy too. People slate Leamy but he coped in the warm-up games and no other player who was left out could cope so well if Leamy is that poor what does that say about players left out??????

I don't think Leamy is as bad as people claim he is and been off form due to injures for a long time, he certainly was a very good player before then. What ever happened to Johnny O'Connor, I always liked him as a player a very tenacious 7; I don't see a major problem with playing SOB at 7, given enough gametime there he would probably become quite a similar player to Wallace ( Who has played very well in all backrow positions).

Ferris can play 7 too , he did in one of the HC matches this year , put him to 7 and that would free O'Brien up to rape number 6

Don't take it too seriously - it's just good old fashioned Leinster Munster rivalry - nothing new. If Kidney had made winning each test a priority, I think it would have had more Leinster players. From the outset against Scotland, he experimented and I think that's a good thing. Noone will care about the warm-ups if Ireland have a good world cup, and if they don't noone will be that surprised! I think they're in good stead. Some luck would be nice!

same as above.

I'm sorry but did you just pawn off my much considered opinion on some mickey mouse rivalry with the residents of turnipstan?

Look through my post. Kindly point out to me where I'm wrong. Its not about rivaly, its about Kiddenme picking **** players hes familiar with, over better players he doesnt like.

He has taken the HEC winning team (twice in the last three anyway), tossed it away and replaced it with inferior players he remembers from his time in turnipstan. Deans took the Reds, built a team around them and won the Tri-Nations for the first time in 11 years. Anyone see the problem with Kiddenmes approach?

I think you'll see allot more Leinster players on against the US, but I have no idea. How long they'd stay on for, I have no idea?
Til the end if necessary - many of them.

I like how both English and Irish fans (some anyway) are wondering why the senseless decisions of their head coaches are so contrasting with the sensible decisions of Robbie Deans...
