[2014 Mid-Year Tests] England vs Barbarians

It is an absolutely beautiful day in London and with those two backlines I can't imagine there nit being plenty of tries. I think the BaaBaas will be able to create magic from anywhere while England may need to rely a bit more on having a dominant pack to get going forwards.

Something like 27-18 to England.

The only thing that worries me is that with Lancaster et al in NZ we've got the Saxons coach Jon Callard in charge. A man who have proved incapable of allowing our talented young players to play with any flair or panache over the last few years.

OK...it seems like the Baabaas don't have any sort of chemistry...terrible communication there. Oh well, maybe they'll click during the match later...

Surprised Devoto is the main 10 replacement, Miller has far more experience there and at higher levels.

I forgot how much I hate Sky commentators, what the hell are these two on about half the time?

crazy accuracy on that kickpass from Brock J. First time that's worked for him in 6 months...

From where I'm say this looks like two teams who aren't defending very well but who are keen to run it. Great stuff.

Aye, Brock James is playing very well

I think he's got some sort of psychic reversal. No Brock, it was during those two elimination games in the past month you were to play well, not in some fkng Baabaa's game. Yeaaah...

Too many stops in this game...

Slade is having some lumps knocked out of him!
Really wish he'd gone down under instead of burns

Much better BaBas performance than in previous years.

Gotta agree about Callard - everything I've seen suggests he isn't a very good coach.

What club socks is Cowan wearing?
Any top 14 have black with yellow?

Apparently he's lost his Gloucester ones (who apparently can't send him new ones) so he seems to have borrowed some Cornwall ones.
