England had it!
How many times have England had the game under their control and they go back to this dreaded box kick. It gets them in trouble every single time. For 65 minutes, England were fantastic. In the last 15 minutes, they were rubbish"

Must have been watching a different game if he thought England were fantastic for 65 minutes.

Yeah cause I was absolutely talking about last week and not the first 20 mins of today, and also clearly joking

Don't agree on CCS getting a 7. He scored a brace but got caught in defence a few times.

Dawson normally says a lot of drivel.

Said at the time that Borthwick is basically a poor mans version of Eddie Jones, but because he is EnGLisH he got the job.

Think Joe Marchant could add a lot to this back line if he wasn't unavailable. I've enjoyed Ollie Lawrence but this past two weeks he's been snuffed out.

Slade been quiet too and defensively didn't have his best day with the rush defences.

Where else would you be looking in terms of potential centre combos at test level for England?

Centres and props. The eternal conundrum of English rugby. Around and around it goes.

Just caught up on this.

Gotta laugh.

Aus deserved that. As Aus teams have for forever, their backline showed creativity and the ability to conjure something from nothing. Nonetheless JEA already looking out of his depth.

Martin's great, but not fully on his game. Noticeable that when Isiekwe came on he was jumping higher than anyone and pinched an Aussie ball. Getting among an opponent's set piece always has a disproportionate effect.

CCS made some mistakes but there were plenty of others who were nowhere near their best too. I'd move him to 8 next week with B Curry and Underhill. George consistently coming off is a leadership issue, but less of a player issue with LCD.

Crazy take on the match. If you have imposter syndrome, ******* don't because Matt Dawson

Massively disappointed after the opening 15 minutes. Aus started throwing it around and England had no answer.
Way too many missed tackles and indifferent perfomances.
Smith was excellent, so too Itoje and Sleightholm but Earl, Slade and Furbank had shockers.
Hats off to Aus, but England should never have let that slip with a lead on 79 minutes and a scrum on the halfway line.

Got to be some changes for next week. Underhill and Ben Curry have to return, Finn Smith needs a chance, even if it means moving Marcus to FB.
But those Saffers will steamroller Smith at FB.
1 from 4 is looking our best hope. Borthwick out of his depth and those 60 minute subs so unnecessary.

Just remember, were are building. Nobody is quite sure what we are building but we are building, something.
