Western Province v Lions

Ugh, Pieterson try. Lions shouldn't really be in this position with the amount of dominance they've had.

23 - 23...

Penalty for Hook on the halfway line. Will be interesting to see if he gets it. Nah, missed.

Digging your own grave comes to mind. Jones is playing poorly at the moment, and WTH were Shaw and Monye conspiring to do there? Moronic play...

Monye got screwed over with that decision. WP with an excellent attacking position. But woah, excellent turnover at the scrum.

Lions Tighthead. Everybody drink!

Anybody want to point out to CoD how much better the Lions scrum has been for the past 13 minutes...

Outstanding kick from Hook.

Hook made an excellent kick at the end.

Superb result given this is a pretty weak Lions team.

EDIT: Jericho you weren't far out in terms of your score prediction, "23 - 25 to the Lions". :p

Murray did more in those 18 minutes under pressure then Vickery has done all tour. I think that should settle the tight head arguments once and for all.

I've just decided, I hate Joe Petersen, until he starts playing half decent again.

Where the hell was the brilliance he displayed in the Super 14 ?
I mean for goodness sake he practically handed the Lions the win at the end by kicking the ball away after the siren had gone, who the f*** does that ?

But Cauliflowers was asked after the game to single out one player to start the test - "No, I won't do that," he said. "Oh, alright ... Phil Vickery."

Someone remind me - when exactly did Tommy Bowe turn in to a rugby football genius? He's not too fast, not too strong, but he magics tries out of thin air.

WPs fullback (forgotten his name)s decision to take that 2nd dropgoal did us a massive favour, i think if they'd've kept attacking they'd've eventually got through, got the try and gone onto win
I was surprised to see Sheridan doing pretty well in the loose, saw a pretty decent drive by him earlyish on in the first half
Not a bad match, fingernail biting stuff at the end though, was sure that WP were going to go for a DG at their last lineout

agreed. He was ridiculously bad. Dropped everything, and kicked the ball away all the time. What a tard. Worst 15 display i have ever seen.

I haven't been here much recently so I haven't gauged everyone else's reactions, but it isn't just me that think the Sky commentary is a load of biased and inept waffle, right?
