I'd still see Philips and Jones as deserved shoe-ins for the test side.

However I dont see Hook as being anywhere near O'Gara.

Hook offers more than O'Gara in that he covers three positions, and his style is different to both ROG and Jones. And he was pretty good against the Cheetahs, given how awful our forwards were.

On these reasons alone I could see him getting bench duty over ROG, but meh.

Jones and Phillips are test certainties. Phillips had a good game yesterday, and he will deservedly win Lions tests caps, but his service is poor, it's a fact and pretty much the only flaw in his game.

Nah his service is ok its his decision making is the worst as he decides to run when he should pass.
