As previously promised - images of venue setup.

Woosaah i had a rethink about the pros and cons of our previous setup and i believe this will work better and safer for our projectors. Ill keep my projector for the main screen and use yours as its better, for projecting onto the sheet for secondary screen. Ill whip together a stand/frame to sit your projector on top of ready for the comp.

I have highlighted where the bbq deck is and you can also see a main table between the two areas so should be plenty of room for kai and ill get the fridge ready to put your beers and stuff in to keep cool.

All tournament action to take place upstairs and the downstairs is available to play the 360 and the Arcade cabinet and just relax away from the tourney.

2 Toilets on the middle level and access outside on all levels.

Not long now gentlemen should be great weekend.

people stayin at my place:
you need sleeping bags, i have 2 beds and an airbed, no couch, well 2 chairs posing as a couch but would trust that so first in first served you can sleep on the floor i dont care

yep did them just before posting them up - reason for using my projector on the main screen is because its not as bright as your and if anything there is more light coming in by the secondary screen. Yes will still need your sheet tho im going on a hunt today to find the one i talked about last thursday.

Woosaah and yorself have been quite outstanding in your work leading into the tourney. If all Wellingtonians (no offense Woosaah) are like you two, then who wouldn't want to move there!!!???

I won't be on here much this week as I am on Holiday....however....


Aren't we having three projectors???? Anywhere to put a third? Really important we have at least 3 as I have been doing the draws using alphabet letters as people and it looks like we definitely need 3 projectors to churn through all the games.

2Words.....I'll try and get in touch with you this week regarding travel details. Leave Friday morn....back in auckls probably Mon evening.

Danny....try setting your x Box settings to widescreen then put your projector to widescreen....you'll see what I mean :cheers:

I will piost up the templates for the draws this week sometime. So far I have got templates for 8, 9, 10, 11 people scenarios using 3 projectors. I will keep going to do more people.

Name in the hat draw probably to see what alphabet letter we get in the draws.

after seeing those pictures i'm really looking forward to this trip even more now. I came 2nd in the last tri-nations against craig and david that finished on friday night just gone. am getting better as the tourney gets closer.

had a big win against craig too, which is a very good sign.

Can definitely do third xbox, proj and screen downstairs then to allow the 3, i dont want to cramp up the upstairs too much as its good to be able to wander back and forth without getting in the way of a screen.

Awesome! this could speed the tourney up so that the whole thing could be played between 10.30 and 5pm (for example) and it would be finished up neatly really.

What are we all doing for Friday night guys? David, Andrew and I will be up in Wellington all Friday!Are we able to go see Dannys place? Or will there be something on at Woosaah's?

Will I be wasting GG at Jonah Lomu Rugby, and listening to his tears fall onto his pillowcase in Woosaahs lounge?

How appropriate that its me! I started this thread.

All credit to GG for starting the hype in the old multi-player thread. Woosaah for keeping the momentum of this whole epic tourney going. Also to dobrien7 for being the guy with the financial planning to allow us Southlanders to get there (we paid him back for using his credit card to buy the flights) and just generally keeping it on track with the Woos. Also credit must go to 187 and 2wordz for doing what they can to try and get there.

Of course, massive credit to Danny Bullen for what looks like a venue second only to Cardiff Arms Park. A "dream" venue if you will.

This whole thing has so far shown us that TRF New Zealand are world leaders for this forum and like all kiwi's, we put our money where our mouth is when it comes to sporting competition.

Lets hope we can make this an annual occasion guys, because what a great core group we have to start with!

Finally, full credit to us all as rugby will be the winner on the day.
