Rep Points for the Winner and Runner up

I am thinking bout +8 Reps for the Winner +4 Reps for the Runner Up, then +2 Rep Consolation Prize for Worst Player of the day
and then + 1 Rep for turning up....

Also maybe get DC to design some userbars for the attendees and the Winner and Runner Up

I think we agreed a few hundred pages back that we would wait to see exactly who has arrived by a certain time. Then we do the draw by the numbers in front of us.

What we do need is a cut off arrival time......so when the comp starts we don't have people turning up later in the day demading they be included. Otherwise we will be re-diong the draw over and over again.

I hope this thread makes 1000 posts by the time the comp starts!!!

Maybe we should have an updated results thread going during the comp so people logging in can see the current results of games played and how things are panning out haha!!!

I will probably rep every person that attends the tournament. I think anyone who is game enough to turn up to a public comp and put their reputation on the line needs to be commended. The guys going are walkers first and talkers second. Good on ya boys!!!!

GG : yeah bro, layout of controls is the same as the actual arcade cabinet, i decided for the modern slighty stagered layout more like the new SF series games rather than the 2 x 3 in a row

Woosaah: it was awhile back where GG announced that he had been in a SF2 comp and was the frickin man so im prretty sure hell kick my ass come game time. We still on for Thursday night - setup and test?

My Address is 41 Norana Road, Upper Hutt.
Use wises or something to suss it out on a map, ill be home friday all day with my kids on School Holidays so feel free to pop up whenever, im always keen to play a few other games - got my xbox, 360 and a MAME arcade cabinet there so plenty for all.

Woosah and i gonne suss out the gaming environment on Thursday night, so far only issue i can see is that we are playing during the day so ill need to block out the sun for the projectors, which seems a shame.

Cool, Friday can be the day for other games to be played, even hire a xbox 360 and get table tennis? Or even a 6 nations/10 nations or something for those that are there on the Friday?

Just hope we can get to airport Sunday lunchtime without missing out on anything

EDIT: Just checked and we fly out at 2.30pm Sunday so would need to be there 2.00pm I suppose. How long does it take to get to airport Woosaah?
