Hey everyone!

I recently started playing rugby video games with Rugby 25, and I absolutely hated it. Nothing feels right—the gameplay is terrible. However, everything else, like the graphics and licenses, seems decent. So all we can do is hope for a better future... but honestly, it's not looking good, as the foundation doesn't seem solid at all.

That being said, while doing some research, I came across another game on Steam: Rugby Champions, and I'm having an absolute blast with it! I can't understand why this game isn't more well-known. Everyone seems to prefer Rugby 22 or Rugby 25 for some reason that completely escapes me.

Once you get the hang of it, the gameplay in Rugby Champions is incredibly effective. Unfortunately, the game does suffer from several issues: no official licenses, no promotion/relegation system, no inter-league play (as far as I can tell), and the management aspects are pretty weak. There's even a message at the start of career mode mentioning financial management, strategy, and training matches, but I haven't found any actual options for those features.

It looks like the game has a twin, Rugby National Manager, which seems to run on the same engine and was made by the same team. What a shame they didn't merge the two into one ultimate rugby game...

I'd love to hear what people here think! Does anyone have answers to my questions? And in your opinion, what's the best rugby game with career management? Just like Rugby 25 doesn't come close to Rugby Champions, I get the feeling that Rugby National Manager is superior to Rugby Union Manager. Is that the case?
