Springboks vs Wallabies, July 24th 2010, Third Tri Nations Test

Just read what was put ... capes ... Superman capes?

No. Capes to cover their faces when PdV opens his mouth. Obviously the ones with the most capes have had to deal with it for the longest.

Fourie du Preez is out recovering from an operation. He has been playing with an injury for a while now. What a soldier; first playing injured for the Boks to win the 2007 RWC and this year doing the same for the Bulls to take the last S14 (and he was amazing against the Stormers in that game).

As for Frans Steyn.. I guess only himself and Pdivvy know. Could be that Frans does not want to play or has some sort of condition or that Pdivvy does not want him to play or does not rate him.. above Zane Kirschner. LOL. The rumors doing the rounds is that de Villiers has issues with Steyn. I don't rate him above someone like Muliaina, AAC, Dagg or Jane myself but still feel he has the most to offer in the Bok 15 jersey at the moment. Kearney and Byrne probably need mention as well.

new here, i have dual citizenship in the US and NZ but haven't followed much footie until lately. my dad moved back to new zealand and im still over here in the US, i just purchased the fox soccer channel (previously setanta) from my tv provider so I can catch a few more games on my dvr. what's the general consensus on who to route for as kiwi fans when the bocks go up against the wallies?

Normally every team playing OZ, but I'm in for a jolly good game of rugby so I don't really mind who wins

All I want is a game that is devoid of contoversy meaning the winner is the one who plays the best

God, that made me sound like a Miss World contestant. Man points -1000

Looking forward to this! Hopefully a quick and open game.

Might be a bit premature but when Ludik and Jantjes are both 100% fullback depth will not be an issue. Ludik IS a future Bok.

Mvovo, Daniel and Lambie too. There's some great potential in the Sharks-squad at the moment. Craig Burden is heavily underrated as a hooker but in my opinion also a future Bok, especially when Smit retires.

To sum up what I think about this game: I have no faith in the wallabies pack, yet I have no faith in the South African backline.. Should be a good contest, and for some reason, I will be rooting for the wallabies in this game.

Aussies for the win :), I wanna see some of Deans magic.

Kankowksi and Pienaar to start the game. Boks looking for a solid win.

Lost all respect for Kearns when he just said that Ben Robinson is the best loosehead in the world ...

I like that this starts three hours later than the tests in NZ/the ones in Australia during the summer internationals :p

Seconds until kickoff
