[RWC2023] England vs Argentina (09/09/2023)

That's annoying to concede then but oh well. Winning this game was immense.

I think we have to recognise the part the opposition are playing in Argentina's woes. We can all play under no pressure. England are ******* dogged in everything that they're doing and it's rattled Argentina. No doubt about it.

Utter rubbish. Rugby is about forward power first. Eng with a man down have played a great game. Argentina have been dogshit and deserve the drubbing they're recieving, even if it's by multiples of 3.
For me, Rugby is about running and scoring tries. If you enjoyed this then good for you. For me it was worse than dire.

Commutator "best performance in a long time. Certainly since Eddie left"

What?

About the same as when they have their openside flanker. We're just about hitting our current average for tries scored under Borthwick.
Oh have a day off. 78 minutes down to 14 men beating a team ranked higher and all you can moan about is tries?

England should be thanking Argentina for playing so badly

and the ref

Only took them 79 mins to pass the the white line but FFS ford been unplayable tonight and the mentality shift for filling in for the 15th man is the only thing I can think of how this happened and a argie side that butchered the game too.

Whoever decided Arg didn't need some warm up games need to give their head a wobble.

Fair play England respect where it's due, great defence, kept the fitness up. Something to build on at least.

Win is a win, but we still look ****. Ford and Lawes to an extent dragged us to a win. Defence was the only real improvement.
True, but they have a viable scoring option now. Pure accidental discovery etc, but that doesn't matter now.
