[RWC2023] England vs Argentina (09/09/2023)

According to ChatGPT just now:

"As of my last knowledge update in September 2021, the biggest winning margin in rugby without scoring a try in a single game was achieved by England in a Six Nations match against Italy on February 14, 2009. England won the match 36-11 without scoring a try. They scored all their points through penalties, drop goals, and conversions."
Which is nonsense as England scored 5 tries in that game. The AI revolution is still some way off.

What a dreadful game. I thought that rugby was about running with the ball and scoring tries. Kick and clap just about sums this up perfectly.
Utter rubbish. Rugby is about forward power first. Eng with a man down have played a great game. Argentina have been dogshit and deserve the drubbing they're recieving, even if it's by multiples of 3.

This is why you don't ******* trust ChatGPT. It's tech bro ******** for the most part.

Really poor from Cheika and the captain that they couldn't change the attitude at the half. Worst Argentine performance I have ever seen.

I cannot believe the commentator is trying to suggest this is anything other than a blood and thunder, indignant, backs to the wall performance from England. I do not think it does anything to increase their chances of beating an equally crap team in the QF or a top 5 team in the semi.

Hot take (maybe?) but if current Tuilagi played for a better team he'd be recognised as one of the top 3 12s in the world right now. Defence has been sublime. It's just a shame our attack is so dull in regards to how we use him.
Is he not already recognised as that? Aki and Henshaw are no mugs but i'd take Tuilagi in heartbeat myself.

Conversions?

Danty, Barrett, Kerevi and Tuipulotu are all in and around the conversation IMO.

Edit: forgot the Saffas too.

Awful game of rugby and one I expected England to loose before going down to 14 men. Showed a lot of dog and game management from Ford has been excellent. Argentina have be woeful.

Ref is all over Argentina tbf. Counterpoint: they're also ******* shite
