[RWC2023] Argentina vs Samoa (22/09/2023)

Early kickoff for the only Friday game is dumb as hell - why is this one not an 8pm kickoff?
This should be a good matchup, but gonna be in work/driving home for most of it

Same on Wednesday with a contender for match of the round

Ita V Uru a contender match of the round? Really?
There's a potential dress rehearsal for the final in Pool B, 2 tier 1 countries playing for survival in Pool C, and a QF place likely at stake in Pool D.

The gap between Argentina and Samoa is probably similar to that of Italy and Uruguay. Samoa is about as good as Japan. I don't expect this to be that much of a game unless Argentina absolutely bottle it.

Is there a single rugby viewing timezone on the planet that won't find this kickoff time detrimental? Pre-dawn in Oceania and mid-morning in South America for example.

Rain might hamper Argentine game plan, especially if they leave their hands and brains in the locker room like last time. Whereas Samoa are really conservative and simple so should execute in the wet.

Samoa 23 - 16 Pumas

Obstructed and blocked view by Argentina 9
