7. Sean O'Brien - 30
8. Jack Conan - 0

321 caps
Blimey. That's not too many fewer caps than this likely full England team:

1. Marler - 26
2. Hartley - 61
3. Cole - 45
4. Attwood - 16
5. Kruis - 4
6. Haskell - 53
7. Robshaw - 32
8. Vunipola - 12
9. Youngs - 42
10. Ford - 6
11. May - 11
12. Twelvetrees - 16
13. Burrell - 7
14. Watson - 4
15. Brown - 33

368 caps

In fact, if Tom Youngs starts (and after Hartley's indiscipline, you get the sense that he might), then we are down at 324 caps!

Not much can be read into that Ireland selection. It looks like a mixture of players who need game time and younger players.

Great to see SOB back as well as Henderson, Earls and Fitzgerald. The 6 nations squad is stronger than the november squad.

It's nice of Anthony Foley, Neil Doak and Pat Lam to allow Felix Jones, Keith Earls, Iain Henderson and Kieran Marmion play for Leinster against England Saxons this weekend.

Just don't break them like ye always do :p

As for rest of us here in Munster Rugby it'll be crap week of camp in some place called Lanzarote. Hope the weather nice as well being a physio there will hopefully be some downtime

This. Way things are going, I am very relieved to see less rather than more Ulster players in an Ireland team... mindyou, if it hadn't been going the way it has, there'd have been more rather than less anyway most likely.

Ha Ireland never injure any player just hope we don't get an injury at wrong time that will hurt us. Like even if any player gets serious bang it'll possibly hurt RWC preparations. Someone like SOB has to be watched carefully too.

Wow that Irish side looks really good!

Am very good Saxons side too although I can't understand why Wade is on the bench though. This would be the perfect platform to put him under some serious pressure against a really good Irish team. We also know exactly what Chris Aston brings.

Even more so if the weather is (likely to be) awful as then it tests his all round game. Again it feels like a safe move from the management. Frustrating

So.... are yez Saxons ready for a wild beatin'? :D

Where can I watch this if I don't have Sky ?

I'm sure if you search the interwebz for alternatives to places like wiziwig (now closed) you'll find something.

[Its on RTÉ isn't it? IF so saffycen, proxy to ROI and stream from RTÉ]

agree about Ashton vs Wade, but then John Callard is in charge so expect the saxons to be a shambles for about 65-70% of the game till they abandon his game plan and take it on themselves.

I can't wait to see Ashton running lines of Burgess up the middle, if only it was 2011.

Bit of a mismatch having D'Arcy opposite Burgess. D'Arcy is lucky to be there.

Do you mean a mismatch in terms of minutes played...?

He said D'arcy is lucky to be there. I don't know how that can be taken in any other way then him suggesting D'arcy is terrible atm. Something I don't agree with but there's certainly no ambiguity in his comment.

Anyway what happens when SO'B and Burgess collide? :D

I understood, was just making a counter point that size is far from everything and Burgess is still very raw. Probably should've been less cleverd1ck about it...!

I know D'Arcy's been past his best for a while, but he's got a lot of experience to use against a man who hasn't yet put in s truly Premiership class 80 minute performance for his club.
