What a terrible game.
England's skill has been poor and well apart from 4-8 and Madigan in areas Ireland will be disappointed. Defence is good but in such a low intensity that's to be expected

Stooke is ****ing fantastic. I've been watching him for the last 10 minutes. Shows up just off nearly every single Irish ruck, ready to make a tackle. Has made so many tackles in the last 10 minutes, I couldn't even put a figure on it. If not always as the first tackler, then supporting. When Simpson wanted to take a free kick, Stooke was the only forward to get into position before Simpson kicked, in order to support Simpson. He pushed out wide to get into position whilst every other forward was milling around the scrum. And when Simpson kicked, Stooke was obviously the first guy on the scene. Shown more nous in 10 minutes than the rest of the pack has for the whole game.

Can't help but feel Dave Seymour should be playing. If anyone knows how to excel in a pack getting smashed it's him. Wallace has been completely anonymous both in the breakdown and in general play. He also f***ed up for the first try.
That said his form in the prem did warrant a start here, but Seymours form over the last bjillion years warrants one more.

Henderson should be ahead McCarthy
Ruddock or TOD for bench
Except Madigan no back did much with Gilroy and McFadden probably harming chances slightly

Burns pretty much single handedly lost us that game.

Was responsible for the atrocious tackle at the start which led to an Irish try

Dare I say it but if Cipriani was playing today I think we would have won .

We more than likely would have won had Farrell played too although it wouldn't have been deserved . Ireland were really good defensively
