Aviva Premiership 15/16 - Round 19

What a game at Welford Rd today. Real drama with Gloucs. leading most of the match and the game finishing with 14 phases of Gloucs attacking the Leics try line at the end.

FT Leics 35-30 Gloucs

Tuilagi playing really well. Kvesic had a good first half. Thacker getting better.
Young Will Evans 19 yr old England U-18 flanker, played No.7 for Leics. and showed some brilliant touches and a lot of promise.

Why no Burns? Missed him 1st half.

Who wants Jonny Williams if we go down don't think he will stay he is way to good for us all though I hope he does

Stop trying to fob Crane off on people, he's a Leicester legend!
Isn't it his testimonial next season?

Tuilagi playing really well.

Impressive all round game from Manu. All the power you'd expect but also just doing the right thing at the right time and creating opportunities for others. Looks like he's turning into more of a heads up team player rather than always trying to take on the world.

There's definitely been a shift in his intentions - he seems much more aware of what his best course of action is... just think we need to be careful before claiming he's suddenly become Nonu/added massively to his distribution ability.

Is it just me or does Tuilagi seem faster as well?

Also I think Tuilagi should automatically get in the squad if he punches Ashton again.

Exeter looked a lot better yesterday and look like they could start to click at just the right time ,with all their injured players back/returning. I thought Atkins had his best match for Exeter ,ironically just as Lees and welch are coming back. Slade still doesn't look quite up to full speed yet, but LCD had a blinder and if he carries on like that he'll oust Hartley in no time.
Looking forward to next weeks game at Wasps, should be a cracker.

Wouldn't last week been the right time for Exeter to click? Saracens are the most likely team they'll face in the final if they get there.

Maybe that was part of the masterplan- to lull them into false sense of security .
tbf its the coming few weeks that matter, not last weeks game which will have very little effect on their season.
With Ewers and Hill and maybe Parling to come in to yesterdays side they'll be at full strength.

Nah last weeks game did matter.

Now if Wasps get 5 point v Saints which is very possible ATM, they will only be 1 point behind Exeter.

Wasps have
Wuss (Home)
Irish (Away)
Both very much 5 pointers

Exeter have
Glous (Away)
Quins (Away)

Both could easier trip them up.

And the key crunch match of Exter v Wasps in between could go either way.

I would put money on
1) Saracens
2) Wasps
3) Exeter
4) Who the hell knows.

Which is why I said its the coming few weeks that matter.

Is part of Wasps' forward training just hitting the players in the head with a hammer?
They've got some of the thickest players in the league, easy.

I mean everyone knows Haskell is a useless sack, but Bradley Davies just had a referee shouting directly at him not to change his bind in the maul....and then he does it anyway, gives away a penalty, and starts acting all innocent and saying "i dindu nuffin sir!"
Asheley Johnson has made some very questionable decisions as well

Harrison continues to have an outstanding season, almost certainly going to be their player of the season.

Christ, you can see why Wasps wanted two of our academy hookers - Johnson's lineout throwing is so so bad.

Sorry but just been watching the Bath game and if that is rugby it is not as I know it......pathetic red and yellow cards!!!
