Transfers rumours

From Durban, so you know he is a good one.
I agree, though, it is very premature to be talking about playing for Wales. Granted, that was not a quote from Earle, but his manager.

Still stronger than the Scarlets :D
Debatable. :p

Heard about this a couple of days ago, but I just don't see it happening. This is the season he targeted for silverwear and surely he feels he's done too much to give up now. Although, if he does leave, we've probably gone back at least a couple of years in our development:(
The worry is that he's lost a few big players like Morgan and Reed, and it's going to be really difficult to live up to fan's expectations, trying to improve on every year, when you lose players of that kind of stature.

Gloucester is a fantastic opportunity. Our players are staying put, there have been some great additions for next season, and he won't have any Heineken Cup pressure. There are also some really useful academy players, nearly ready to make the step up. My only hope is that he'll fight for a bit of money to spend on bringing in another second rower.

Andy ***terrell to Sale Sharks.
He left Leeds a week or two ago saying he wants to play in the Aviva Prem, and has just opened a gym in Sale, so I'm assuming....

Just been confirmed on BBC that he's left. Did he play much for Sale this year?

Got a handful of bench appearances just after winter - We'd loaned out Aston Croall to Harlequins for the season, and then Joe Ward and Marc Jones both got injured so were left with 18yr old Tommy Taylor (who did very well) by himself, so brought ***terrell back. He played well when on the pitch, but was only there for a few weeks as he wasn't registered for the LV= Cup or the Amlin Challenge (and Marc Jones got better).

Two Cheetahs Second rowers off to Europe:

Amobokoboko, your link says front rowers, the article says second rowers...

Am hearing we may be doing more about the fly-half position than NOC NOC, and also that our NIQ back-rower is yet to be identified, so not Nick Williams...

another Scarlets rumour, this time an All Black prop in Campbell Johnstone, according to Rick O'Shea

Western Mail reporting the Johnstone story too.

Good luck with Campbell Johnstone....he is no loss to Biarritz!

Possibilities of Brad Thorn staying/returning at some stage. Him staying is unlikely but a return seems possible. A lot going on in the background according to Richie Murphy Leinster's skills and kicking coach. Confirmed we're definitely in the market for a secondrow and a utility back as two foreign spots are now open.

Here's <del> hoping </del> praying you sign someone poor for once!

What about that 'tempting' pool of Aironi players eh? :p

anybody know any rumours of Ospreys signings for next season?

five wingers and three props are leaving so there must be some recruitment to fill out the squad
Probably looking more for internal promotion. Eli Walker and Luke Morgan could see more match time.
Pitman (Rugby league) and Ben Thomas (Released, I hear) are gone, so the Ospreys need some more back rows. Dan Baker looked good in the U20s, some second rows being developed as well.

Apparently (as in some are saying its done), Ulster will be signing an IQ Seth Efrikan hooker by the name of Rob Herring.

South African people, what can you tell me about him?

I was going to make that pun. My powers must be failing.

Herring played for Sale at one time apparenty, no doubt Olyy will be able to tell you something about him.
