Stormers looked disinterested in that game. The terrible pitch didn't help us but Sheesh.

I was a little worried that after losing to the Scarlets that Cardiff might struggle tonight, and the first half was really poor. Jekyll and Hyde doesn't cover it at the moment the inconsistency is really hurting the team against some of the better teams. However, that was a big comeback to win 21-19 after being 0-19 down. Good character shown, couple of decent finishes and the maul continues to be a quiet weapon.

Really not a fan of Aled Davies in Blue and Black, a good player but doesn't suit our game at all. Kicking the ball constantly at poor times. Would rather go down playing wide rugby like last year than kicking possession away without a decent press.

No disrespect to Aled but going from Tomos Williams to him is quite the downgrade. As you say, though, he's a decent enough player just not what you need really. But beggars can't be choosers.

Oh massively. Tomos is peak at the moment, he is missed hugely.

Beavan is much better as a starter. I think they were hoping Alex would be like a Lloyd Williams replacement but it's not working out that way.

I dunno. I'm not Aled Davies' biggest fan, but his kicking has been on point, and I think Cardiff need a bit of that to balance their attacking midfield. If Grady didn't have feet for hands, Cardiff would have regained a few good box kicks tonight, as well as score a try in the corner when he juggled the ball giving time for the defense to get across.

Apart from the Dragons who were well and truly back to their error strewn worst, that was more like it from the Welsh regions. They're all struggling with consistency game-to-game, or even half-to-half, but there's some really positive individual performances which offer some positivity going into the AI's.

Where was the game played? It didn't look like Newlands or DHL.

edit. Looked it up and it was the Danie Craven Stadium
Yes, Danie Craven stadium in Stellenbosch where the pitch hasn't looked that rough before in my memory. Stormers have played there a number of times before in the URC and I believe this is our first loss there.

Credit to Glasgow though. Adapted much better and their general kicking was superior to ours and if it wasn't for our dominant scrum we'd have struggled to get even the little territory we did.
