The only way I can see us getting Dagg is if Isa manages to be very persuasive, doubtful as the two have never worked together.

That worries me as being realistic, far more than the Sale rumour ever did.

Sale have cash now supposedly, hence the long term deals some of their youngsters have been signing, I don't think Ford wasn't realistic. However Ford may be looking at their current season and wondering if it's the right place for him. He is very good friends with Eastmond too I believe.

Starting to doubt eggchaasers sources now, at one point they said Fearns was def going to Tigers....

But Cips to Toulon, Ford to Wasps and Slade to Bath really doesn't sound believable esp since all in contract still.

Fissler seemed to be following Eggchasers before, this time Eggchasers didn't actually say what they knew, and Fissler has come out with it.

Clubs aren't going to want to keep a player who doesn't want to stay, it really doesn't help. I've no idea what Cips' contract length is, but if Toulon want him, and Wasps can get Ford to sign, then they'll happily take any money Toulon will pay to break the contract. Could easily imagine Cips signing only a 1 year contract anyway. Ford's release seems to have been agreed for the most part, with only the question marks over if they'll let him go to tigers (seems odd).

No idea on Slade to Bath, but they've been linked to a lot of players.

This IMO is a Fissler tip for Eggchasers considering they have come out and said it after Fissler mentions it.

Both records have been pretty crap in terms of Rumours though.

Personally I hope Ford does go Sale or Wasps and not Tigers Burns is on fire and rather spend that cap space on a 8 or something.

Eggchasers claim that it was what they couldn't discuss last week (in fairness they did say there was news they weren't allowed to share, and there's no reason not to believe them).

I don't think this is pure agent talk, and suspect there's truth in each rumour, it's just until the piece of paper is signed, you cannot be 100% sure. Much like Eastmond to Sale seemed to be done and dusted until suddenly he went to Wasps. And Cips to Quins was done and dusted until O'Shea left Quins, leading Cips to look elsewhere.

Andrew Porter to Munster is being rumored. Don't believe it for a second though, we have two good looseheads who we're more likely to hold on to during international periods. Andrew Porter to Ulster I could believe.

But you have to acknowledge that both Fissler and Eggchasers have mentioned around 5 clubs with Ford, my rule of thumb is once more than two clubs have been mentioned it tends to be mostly agent talk.

TBH 90% of Fissler rumours are agent negotiation img bigger contracts elsewhere rather than actual rumours.

I think they mentioned that others had mentioned, never seemed to suggest that's what they believed.

I still have hopes that Ford will come to saints, seems unlikely but we were one of the main clubs linked with him, most prem clubs have been linked with him. Time will tell where he goes but i doubt that cips will go Toulon and Ford to wasps, it just seems unlikely as Cipriani seems to be loving it at wasps

I can totally Cipriani going to Toulon.

He's 'played the game' and given it his best shot to get back in to the England mix, but Eddie has more or less closed the door on him.

He looks as though he's enjoying his rugby at Wasps, but as the carrot of playing for England has pretty much been removed, I can see him taking his chances with Toulon.

The money and the South of France lifestyle would be right up his street. Unlike other clubs/country's 'no d*ckheads' policies, the likes of the Armitages and Quade Cooper prove that Toulon don't subscribe to that philosophy (I know they've left now, but the point still stands).

I don't read the Times so I'm going on what someone on Shedweb said. According to the Times, Gloucester weren't going to announce Hook -> Ospreys until Gloucester had a replacement signed. Since it has been announced, I presume that someone has signed (or to the same effect). This is an educated guess, but if it were someone from outside the Premiership, I reckon it would have been announced by now... so perhaps more likely to be someone within the Premiership, where we have to wait until January? A lot of assumptions though, I suppose we will see soon enough.
