Which also directly contradict his utterances of a week or so ago (even if they were technically true at the time).
I just hope he doesn't become a mercenary, joining a club for a bit, having a look around, and jumping to a higher contract each time.
He could have shown Leicester more loyalty (though I understand his reasons); whilst he doesn't owe Bath anything beyond his contract, he does owe us at least some honesty or deflection, rather than "I'm not going anywhere" one week to "I'm activating my option to leave" the very next week.
If he goes to Sale, will that be long term?
To really establish himself, he needs to find a place for him, and allow a team to be built around him. Barely any player has ever flourished and fulfilled his potential when he's constantly changing clubs, never spending years building partnerships etc; and surely FH is the hardest position to do so. How many truly top level players have had more than 2 clubs*? how many FHs?
I just feel he's being badly advised... unless this is an agent ploy to get a bigger contract where he is; in which case, if any club owner deserves brinkmanship from agents, it's Brucie.

ETA: oh, and from what I can gather, the Sale bit comes from a tweet by David Flatman saying that Sale are the biggest bidder so far; whilst Brucie is suggesting that his break clause relies on Bath "finding an equivalent replacement" - which seems unlikely unless Cruden wants to do an Evans and give up on caps already (not that Bruce is world renowned for his honesty and integrity).
