Transfers rumours

He's the name that's been dropped. Though I'm not very trusting of the source. Apparently we are signing a lock, hope it's actually Pyle.
Pyle is definitely more believable.
While it's not unheard of for a player to be bought out of his contract, Mumm only signed the extension a few months back, is captain at Exeter, and really seems to be loving it down there.
Can't see him moving to Leinster at all.

Muliaina--->Connacht
Henshaw--->Nowhere (Pat Lam said in an interview Schmidt had give no directive, Henshaw was happy at Connacht and contracted at Connacht)
Eric Elwood-->Munster coaching staff

On this Muliaina is rumoured due to strong links with Lam and at 34 will still be huge asset.
Regards Henshaw I can't see him leaving as he's doing his degree in Athlone but if IRFU want to move him Connacht are powerless.
Elwood is a candidate but also are Freddie Pucharellio (spelling off) (scrum coach) and Howlett and Robbie Deans still thrown around.

Lyndon to Scottish is confirmed on the score.ie
Good move for him as he was never going to oust Plisson and Steyn. The lads only 21 and looks very raw as of yet but talented. If he shows potential he could very well be snapped up by a club like Quins. Being a 21 year old on a decent Championship isn't a bad place to be.

Totally agree this is a great move for him. I think he has a lot of potential but time will tell.

I like Lydon but do have doubts about him. Like if he was top drawer for potential he'd be still in Dublin as I'm no Leinster fan but accept they've some of best judges of talent for backs and if he was real deal he'd be there. Then Stade are getting rid of him so I don't know but maybe he's not as great as some make him out to be. He may dowell in Championship but it's route a lot of guys that can't make it with academies etc here are taking

It's a route they're taking but it works. Just look at Copeland for instance.

Eamonn Sheridan, Vasily Artemiev and Niall Morris are all recent examples of former Leinster backs who are thriving or have thrived in the Premiership. Meanwhile we're facing serious problems in the centre and had Darragh Fanning and Collie O'Shea on the bench last week. Sometimes players slip through the system.

Agreed but Feic none of them would get near a Leinster team now (as in first XV). It's not that they've slipped through more than surplus. Don't get me wrong some do (Reddan, Ross and Downey) but my point is some build him up as International class.
But at times I do question when I see someone like Johne Murphy. I like him and a great heart but he scored tries for fun in Premiership but struggled since coming to us.

Must add in I do wish him all best and hope he is a success. I'd also acknowledge that being at Stade and getting time with first team is an achievement. Just I do question is he a bit over hyped by some (not here but in media)

I'd take Sheridan in half a second.

But I'm sure if Leinster wanted them they'd have him. He'd love to be back but you get my point with bigger picture although I'd accept centres may have had talent but left due to fact they're behind 2 of Ireland best in last 25 years

Leinster put their eggs in the O'Malley basket. Then he broke. I could see us going for Sheidan when his Irish contract is up, we could do with a big midfielder.

Not sure how much you've watched of Sheridan, but he's really not that great.
Big unit, but hands and awareness leave a lot to be desired. Leinster, if they wanted a centre, would be better off looking at Fergus Mulchrone - much better rugby player, and is IQ through his Dad's family.

I always put Sheridan in same category as Downey. A superb crash ball guy but limited overall. A good player but nothing more

1 try every 4 games with the most dominant team in the Premiership supplying you isn't what most people would call scoring tries for fun.
