Scott Buckley gone to play for Randwick in Oz for the Summer. Fair play to him getting game time by hook or by crook.

Think Goggin did similar after he was released by us but cool to see a player do it while under contract. Buckley always strikes me as a player who could be very useful if he tidied up parts of his game.

I would be surprised/angry if we sacked him. I think the current run of results is not his fault. I suspect he's walked and is probably frustrated with the IRFU and how restrictive they can be with regards to recruitment.

Not sure where we go from here. Very few names jump out. If it's not an established coach with a track record for success I will be ****** off.

Jones instantly comes to mind, the IRFU will absolutely be eager to get him back in the system, but I would like some candidates with HC experience ideally as well.

Yeah, I can see his contract having a "Head Coach" clause too. Doubt it'd be a factor.

Jones would be good I think, although I could see him benefitting from a DoR or similar.

that's what I suspected. I would seriously have lost faith in the powers at be in Munster if he had been sacked.
