Munster's Irish-qualified centre Antoine Frisch has declared that he wants to play for France, the country of his birth.
Despite moving to Munster two years and making it clear that he wanted to represent the country where his grandmother was born, Frisch has seemingly had a change of heart.
The 27-year-old has been unable to force his way into Andy Farrell's plans, and while he impressed on the Emerging Ireland tour to South Africa in 2022, that did not mean Frisch was 'captured' by Ireland.
Ooph ooph ooph.Major setback for Munster as Antoine Frisch declares intention to play for France

Don't forget he is IQ until he is cappedOoph ooph ooph.
I expect he will still fulfil his contract with us. Beyond that to be honest keeping him would have been speculative anyway. He will be JIFF, has shown his stuff in Europe and its become clear he won't get proper caps here in Ireland. Nor will he in France imo, but the money will be better and ultimately its his home.
Yeah, no hard feelings from my side really. I don't really blame anyone in this situation.Don't forget he is IQ until he is capped
Only dampner I can say is his better half is based in Paris and well I can understand wanting to be there with her.
Last I heard not looking likely but not dead in the water either.any option of bringing Ultan home ?
Not really...Only dampner I can say is his better half is based in Paris and well I can understand wanting to be there with her.
If you seen his other half. You'd see whyNot really...
Paris is a dump covered in dogshit.
Who sensible would want to live there. (Even from Limerick. )
Michael Foy is hidden gem in that class. A good batch though. I think Eean Edogbo probably will be best known as he was very good in his 20s performances and has rhe power of his brother but Foy and Sheahan are my 2 main picksMunster Rugby Confirm Academy Squad For 2024/25 - Munster Rugby

Kamil not million miles awayIt's nice to have a centre in there. There will be a few shoe ins for our intake next year (O'Leary, Calvey, Minogue, Wood). Wonder what the status on Novak is, he's been in and around so many A squads and came on v Crusaders
Foy I know v little about, but he is a big boy it seems.
