RWC Quarter Final: Ireland - Wales (08-10-2011, 18:00)

Considering the amount of possession Ireland have had, it's a shame they don't have more on the scoreboard. They don't look capable of breaking the Welsh defence at the try line but they DO look capable of pinning the Welsh in their half and aiming to keep the score board ticking over through kicks to put the Welsh under pressure.
Until ROG puts another one out the back and it's a scrum in their half :p

Or staying up late, depending on which part of the world you're in. ;)

(This one isn't too late but the next one kicks off at 12:30 a.m. my time).

For once in australia it just feels like the right time for a game and beer :) Doesnt happen everyday for world events :)

Well if the aim is to pin the Welsh back then you don't always have to be aiming right near the try line, just far enough inside the Welsh half to keep pressure up and make sure there is a decent distance to your own line.

No try, surely?
His foot touched the line...

It's been awarded.....hmmmmmmm, debatable!

I think the decision could have gone either way. It's Cueto all over again... Let's see what happens now. 10-10 and everything to play for...

Very debatable. Benefit of the doubt to the attacking team there, there's a good chance his shins were in the air over the touchline when the ball was grounded. I think the decision to award the try was correct.

Deserved by Ireland. I would hate to be a fan of either team at the moment. Not sure I could cope with this against France.

BOD again with a turnover - Suppose that does answer the "Ireland have no fetcher" argument

there was a definitive angle for the try. ball was touching the tryline first.

hopefully more tries to come in the second half

That is by far the best diving try I've seen in years!!! 9,7 for the dive hahahaha. Wales leading again! Conversion missed, 15-10... This is incredible!
