can only assume Fourie has picked up a knock, he had been playing out of his socks until then

Stream doesnt work and my P2P is down atm <_< if only there's a sopcast link somewhere

Just reading BBC updates on my phone - can anyone tell me why fourie is off? Sounds (reads) like he was having a good half

He was playing very well. No mention why he was taken off, same with Cueto.

But did he bind properly? The tackled player is your responsibility is he not? So you are supposed to bind if you bring them down? I'm probably wrong but I'm curious.

i think you may be correct there Irishflanker, but one thing is for sure it was a typical pacific tackle. His arms did come round but he certainly didnt come down with Wallace.

Cueto was hobbling earlier, hence his substitution

F***ing hell - We send three players to England, one of them gets crocked for 6+months and is only back playing today (Sheridan), and the other hobble off after 20mins!

Never seen Tom Croft get riled up before!

Olyy, Cueto didnt look that bad in all honesty, guess it was more a precaution to take him off so quickly. No idea who or what got under Crofts skin but thats the first time ive seen him get worked up in an England shirt.

Woah woah woah!

Anyone catch Cian Healy punching Croft in the back of the head on replay? Yet Croft is getting the bollocking!

Right one more Irish player even looks hurt, no even gets a funny look from an English player and I'm headin' up to Dublin with my trusty hurl. Surely though Owens should follow through with his threats and yellow card someone at the breakdown.

Oh didn't actually notice that. There looks to be the making of a sending off in this game thats for sure!

lack of drop goals is disappointing

O'Gara should have dropped at the end. With all this attempt at tries, someone might mistake it for a southern hemisphere game!

to be fair to owens, he is a top official, he isnt afraid to card peopel, so im sure if there is another England offence at the breakdown we will be down to 14.

i didnt see the Healy punch then....no wonder Tom went in for seconds

Think Croft pulled him over the ruck, then Healy belted him in the back of the head, Croft grabbed him and then Owens saw that and blew the whistle - madness
Luckily nothing came of it in the end....

Ireland looked good in the last few mins, Englands defence was solid though (Wigglesworth putting in some good hits/keeping the pressure on the man with the ball)

Oh for ****'s sake, that was always going to be a yellow you daft gits.

**** this away, we're gonna **** this away, we're gonna **** this away...

I don't think I've ever seen Ashton join a ruck and not give away a penalty - in the bin now for it

At least O'Gara missed it :p
