Steve-o, you've said it twice already, last year!!! If I were a selector or coach I wouldn't and I don't pick players on previous form of achievement, that's why Joe van Niekerk always failed so miserably. If we have to pick on form then Wynand Olivier has to get the nod.

I have to disagree with you both and we can argue about this all day. I won't change my opinion on Jacobs, he has always been made to look good by the players around him. He is not an inside centre that's why he played outside centre for the Valke on his inside he had the legend Ettienne Botha, outside centre for the Bulls and Sharks. Jamie Roberts and BOD really showed he can't defend in the Lions tour and he is slow, couldn't even catch Devon Raubenhaimer in the Sharks vs Griquas match.

There are a lot of political pawns in this team eg. Earl Rose, Maku, Ralepelle etc. But in saying that there are also other/white guys that do not deserve to be there Heinke, Ruan, Jannie etc. At the end of the it's down to personal opinion, I guess.

The worst post I have read in years. Keep out the Bok bias please. Your team is being killed at the breakdown. Brussow is doing very littel in comparison to Dusautoir. I aint French either... in case you are wondering. i have never been to France.

Du Pleisses should have got a yellow card for that late hit on Heymans....

Try to Smit. Very lucky. Overthrown lineout right to him. So South Africa were leading 13-3. despite France looking like opening up their defence and... just like that. Right away Vincent Clerc scored a try! And what happened? Mermoz linked with Nallet to carve a hole in the centres. Brilliant!

France are playing 14 man rugby. i.e. no flyhalf! Incredible.

Not only is Morne Steyn absolutely useless besides kicking goals....

oh..and so much for Fourie Du Preez being the worlds best scrum half. he was outplayed in the right half by Julien Dupuy who has a whopping 3 test caps.
