The first was a possible red card. So if the tackle off the ball happened first, would the straight yellow for that overrule the bunker review for a possible red?Huh?
Neither offence was ignored.
#22 was shown a yellow card for the tackle off the ball, then once shown the replays of the high tackle, he was shown a yellow card for that. With a 10 minute review.
I'm not convinced that you can show a red card for 2 yellows, without first showing a yellow.
I wish I knew what the disappointment of losing to the ABs by 2 points felt like.Well that was really disappointing, wasn't it ?
No.The first was a possible red card. So if the tackle off the ball happened first, would the straight yellow for that overrule the bunker review for a possible red?
Curious.Yeah that's a yellow, both low but definitely high and hard
Do you have a clip? Seems weird...The first was a possible red card. So if the tackle off the ball happened first, would the straight yellow for that overrule the bunker review for a possible red?
Nobody would wish that on him, except the Welsh.Ben Curry is Welsh?!
Bit early for clips yet.Do you have a clip? Seems weird...
Perfect description, although I think the ref should have applied the original penalty (high tackle) which England chose anyway.Bit early for clips yet.
AB#22 put in a high shot with both players pretty low, but bent at the knee, not waist. Ref thought it was nothing much in real time.
A few seconds later, AB#22 put in a tackle off the ball, with NZ having already been given a team warning and a team final warning, so got a yellow for that.
TMO then called red back for the high tackle, which they looked at loads of times, and switched the yellow card offence to the earlier high tackle, with TMO review.
So AB#22 nreceived a yellow card with review, and England got choice of location for their penalty.
Fans got upset about... something or other.
When you'll get hammered in DublinEngland are fast becoming the biggest choke artists of world rugby.
Choked against France in the six nations and failed to take advantage of a miss firing New Zealand.
Really struggling to see how England improve, I think we will struggle against Australia and get hammered by South Africa.
Luckily we are playing Ireland away the first game of the six nations…
Excellent pickup of the sarcasm thereThen you'll get hammered in Dublin
I'm not sure I've ever seen that when there are multiple offences in the same phase of play.So was the first yellow card for repeated fouls and not for dangerous foul play? In any case, given these premises, leaving the choice of location seems incorrect! :O
It's hard to disagree with this but at least you've seen some progress from when he took over. The 6N will be a good indicator. I'd say 3rd place is absolute minimum but really you should be targeting top 2.Borthwick has won 1 game in 9 against the top sides since he took over. That's nowhere near good enough for an England coach. I thought we were poor today and only some sloppy NZ finishing let us off the hook, on another day we could have lost by 15 points plus. It's just not good enough with the talent that is in the squad. Our attacking game today was virtually non existent and, once again, when we got a lead we reverted to the default negative setting that is this coaching teams' mantra. The Springboks will absolutely marmalise us if we play like that.
Based on games post 6 nations I don't fancy England against Ireland or France, Scotland have had our number for a while, honestly not convinced we get any better. It's hard to disagree with this but at least you've seen some progress from when he took over. The 6N will be a good indicator. I'd say 3rd place is absolute minimum but really you should be targeting top 2.
