Aviva Premiership - Round 3

Missing Slater, thorn Ayerza and Cole and Deacon.

Pretty much all our strongest scrummangers.

Tigers have always seemed to have two decent loosies and TH.......is that poor recruitment as Cole has been injured a long time and Ayerza's absence was equally known?

I hope Ewis watched just how useless/ineffectual Banahan is.

He seems to be the only weak link in their really good looking back line...............are they missing anyone who could play there 'cos you are right, he is useless!

Rizzo the Italian international is also out and would have been playing LH.

Mulipola is pretty much our 3rd choice LH and Balmain is our 3rd choice TH.

I'd rather put Henson on the wing and deal with it than suffer through Banahan.
Every time I see him, it makes we question whether I should actually support Bath.

Yeah, Watson is easily first choice - Banahans bench at most for Bath this season.

Surly they can just stick Watson there? I know hes out right now but in the grand scheme of things. Bananaman makes so many errors in all facets shocking how long he played for England.

Never seen Leicester so thoroughly beaten in one half of rugby as they have been in this match so far................can Cockers actually see anything from where he is sitting?!!

Have a word with some sarries fans ;)

Tbf Cockers can't do anything about it ATM.

Maybe if pohe comes on it will add punch to the attack but he will be mismatched in defence against ford, eastmond and Joseph.

The score line isn't that surprising.
I mean with the like of
1) Ayerza
2) Rizzo
3) Cole
4) Slater (although he may miss the season)
6) Loamanu
7) Matera
8) Pearce
9)
10) Bai
11) Benjamin
12) Allen
13) Manu
14) Camcho
15) Scully

Add in Hamilton deacon hepetema

I'm not worried TBH.

WOW, what a try!
Burns with probably the worst missed tackle of the season.

Not directed 100% at you but;

I'm baffled at Tigers seemingly unflustered reaction to this. Yes there are injuries but there are still many current and former internationals out there. Bath are a good side (yes I did say that, I'm not THAT one-eyed) but not the best in the league and theyre making the Tigers look awful. Injuries happen so to have a squad that fails to compete when big players are out I'd be a bit more concerned. Especially as they'll want to do well in Europe and its hard to win both without a squad that can compete when asked.

I think Slater at the half time interview was seriously upset by the first half display and to be fair, they are having a better second half and showing a lot more spirit than they did in the first!

That said, you point is well made and they would not appear to have the all round squad of earlier years and doubtfully good enough for a full on attack on any silverware this year!

Barnes has refereed this game pretty terribly, to be fair.

Certainly he has been incredibly kind to Leicester at the scrum but would love to see their disallowed try again as it appears to me that the scorer had the ball over the line when he had had his one chance to reach out and score but it was on a "Bath" hand and he then made a further movement to get it to ground......is it that that Barnes deemed worthy of the penalty!

jesus what is Wayne Barns doing, has he had too much to drink, very bad decision no way a red
