Also Faf was in a good SA team, whereas George was in a team that was having management difficulties.Yes, George Ford; played 254 matches; was knocked back in 1.
Conclusion - George Ford is a poor defender, constantly getting knocked back by big guys running down his channel.
Haha. Being kept safe in the same place as Vainikolo trampling all over liccle Shane.Has anyone got videos of Jamie Roberts constantly crashing over Ford and driving him backwards? I'm sure we were all told repeatedly that would happen constantly and would be central to their game plan so there must be tons of footage of it surely...?
Ah yes Scott Gibbs. Loved that from the 1997 Lions.Haha. Being kept safe in the same place as Vainikolo trampling all over liccle Shane.
If it helps I can find one of Os du Randt** being swatted out of the way by a centre thereby proving he was rubbish?
** any similarities to the double World Cup winning prop of the same name are purely coincidental.
Literally? I won't be surprised when they get kneecapped from the stands by a high-powered sniper rifle this afternoon then.Literally can't wait until Ford and Farrell retire
Against Italy probably, and then on the summer tour of North America, most likely.Just to get off the Ford Faz issue, when is Robson going to get a proper run at 9?! Or any other option for the matter?! EJ just trudges on with Youngs, who has one good game in 10 (if we're lucky). Has slow delivery, always puts the ball behind the player forcing them to check their run and stunting any chance of getting front foot ball and winning collisions. He's also pretty old now, and his successor should be getting prepped for the next WC surely?
On another note hope Lawrence gets a good chance today. He hasn't really been able to shine so far, but with Manu out this could be a good chance to cultivate a decent 12 option.
None of our supposed leaders off the field ever seam to show it on. Including our captain.Against Italy probably, and then on the summer tour of North America, most likely.
For all our criticisms of Youngs' play, he's apparently one of the team's leaders off the field (just not, y'know, on it...)
Probably if and when Youngs gets injured honestly don't understand why he still gets so much game time atleast start giving others a half, Will be interesting to see how Lawrence develops the midfield is defiantly too light weight without him/Manu with no real power runner, probably allows opposition to defend differently with that knowledge.Just to get off the Ford Faz issue, when is Robson going to get a proper run at 9?! I think that criticism of Daly is a little unfair he has been much improved at FB in his most recent performances not saying he's the best option but doesn't have the same clangers he did initially, the view of his being a huge liability is now slight outdated.Things I'm hoping for today:
Lawrence has a breakout performance that puts him in the Lions conversations.
May takes sole possession of second place on the all-time England try scorers list.
Genge and Stuart prove we have enviable depth at prop.
Wilson does a Wilson.
Binny has a line break (just one).
Daly catches a high ball (just one).
And kicking. Please god, let there be some kicking!
I dunno, I thought they did well in the ANC final. Never allowed the team to panic, kept plugging away and got the win in the end. You can't do that without some pretty good leadership.None of our supposed leaders off the field ever seam to show it on. Including our captain.
Yeah, I was just being silly. I like Daly at fullback.I think that criticism of Daly is a little unfair he has been much improved at FB in his most recent performances not saying he's the best option but doesn't have the same clangers he did initially, the view of his being a huge liability is now slight outdated.
