Shouldn't have allowed him to take it again, I usually like biggar but that was dumb as ****, also just kicking a ball into a guy as a retaliatory measure runs into foul play territory.

Right? The French player was retreating, Biggar chose to take the kick. If it isn't foul play against Biggar, for me it's just play on.
 
Out of interest, why was it not play on after the Biggar incident?
I guess the guy technically was offside(? impeded play either way) so the ref said take it again rather than penalise because there was literally nothing he could do about it bar spontaneously combust

It's like when refs don't penalise a 9 for deliberately throwing a ball at a retreating player

But surely he's not offside if he's retreating and attempting to stay out the way, which he was
 
That's blatantly not a deliberate knock on, why tf are we even checking this.
