nonsense of course England respect Scotland it is our only chance really to play against a 3rd tier rugby team regularly! should be excellent practice for the Uruguay game in the RWC.

I have to say last years game made me loose all respect for Scotland, it was a pretty pathetic display to the point they couldn't even score against us.

It's gotten to the stage where your not even saying if Scotland turn up they have a chance all were talking about is the margin of English victory. I don't think it will be thumping score but after loosing to Italy why should Scotland demand any respect? They need to earn some.



On the UKIP thing hard to think of a party that is further away from my politics (unless you count EDL, Britain First and BNP).

Also when it comes to lack of respect, Scotland showed us so little that last year they booed the anthem (which incidently is also their anthem under other circumstances) and decided not to bother displaying the English flag at the start of the game, instead having 2 Scottish flags. Something about stones and glass houses springs to mind...

A slight irony that UKIP can be condemned from a country that elected a nationalist party, whose express intention is to leave a multinational union.

Anyway, as I said earlier, I can't see where Scotland will beat England. Considering they've managed three wins in 24 years I don't think that's unjustified; especially at Twickenham. Losing 0 - 20 last year doesn't exactly change my mind either.

Are there any Scottish players who could be considered better than their opposite numbers? I only ask because this is the first time in a while it's not England suffering from the comparison.

This. Last years game was a disgrace from a Scottish point of view. Poor performance and lots of nasty anti English ****le the flags being the worst part of that. Don't moan that people don't show you respect when you don't show respect to them.
