[2013 TRC] Argentina vs. New Zealand in La Plata (28/09/2013)

You choose a 5'8" winger based on mauling and rucking ability? That's equivalent to selecting a lock based on his ability to counter attack from deep. Barmy. No offense, but you're beginning to challenge yoe91 as possibly the dumbest regular here. Stop sullying the "Conrad Smith" moniker.

If I'm the coach of a team weak and I have to face a top team like ABs, YES. And I mind the skills to defend of ALL my players. If you're Japan and you face a team like Springboks, is stupid out to attack, blow for blow not have a chance. You should worry in the defense of your team before the attack.

Cheers

The Pumas already have a decent-ish defence and are struggling to score points and losing games as a result, especially ones against more winnable opposition vs 6 Nations and Australia. It doesn't require a genius that the Pumas attack needs improving, and that will be a main challenge of the new coach who hopefully will axe some RG attitudes that are stuck in their ways. I don't see how Japan are relevant either considering Argentina shouldn't be comparing themselves to that standard.

Sorry Nisbo once again you are wrong on the audio, we can barely hear jack **** out of the ref at home...tell him to turn up his mic at HT.

Pumas trying to play the ball too far away and making lots of mistakes... I welcome the attempt to play and attack, but this is silly and risky

They are also loving the chip and chase at the moment....they could be in the lead if for some better goal kicking though.

Very good half for Argentina. Pretty much neck and neck, making the AB's do some of the tackling and the AB's try had an element of fortune in it as well.

You must be on a different feed. I can hear him. Its not loud but it is clear, and I haven't missed anything he's said when talking to the players so far. Can't hear the TMO or the AR's though.

All Blacks lucky to be ahead IMO. Pumas haven't made the most of their territorial and possession advantage.

Yeah I can barely hear him, at scrum time I can hear his commands but when there is a lot of chatter I can't make out what he says...I heard the TMO earlier though he was quiet.

The feed for the first half of the game was in Spanish for me, so I took a shower. Thankfully they have it fixed now and I have the English feed. I just hope I didn't miss any commentator funnies. ;)

Great try for the All Blacks... Full team play. Good forwards drive and then a fast transition. Nothing you can do when they play it well.

And another one. It was a good effort for the Pumas. Shame.

NZ playing so well right now, Pumas can't even get a whiff of the ball.

Think the Pumas might have been better off kicking for the corner...I'm almost always a fan of taking the points but that penalty didn't move them that much closer.
