The Lions squad for 2021 prediction

Jesus pal give it a rest...this isn't your thread. It's almost as if you believe in your head , that it's only your opinion that counts !!
You need to read up on the word myopic give some of the really good posters on here a chance
You say give it a rest and in the very post you quote I said I can't be bothered with this bollix anymore. Now you're dragging me back in. Lol.

It's not my thread but how am I not giving anyone a chance? People are free to respond in anyway they feel like and I can respond back that's how it works isn't it?

My central point in this whole mess is that it's all opinions. Some people question the motives of those opinions and I say it's just opinions. That's it. I'm not really even talking about my opinion on much. I've even posted some pie charts which are facts, apparently.

I'll shut up again now, though.

Honestly South African fans always bring up the rugby world cup.
It's been ages since then please.

Don't see any other nation bring up their RWC wins as much.
Wales like to bring up semi-finals that they lost ;)

For a team that has only really had one good World Cup within the last decade and only a handful of wins against Aus and RSA with no wins against the best, the Welsh sure know how to talk a good game. It's a shame they never manage to play a good game and get very far.

The only thing Wales aims for is to be us and win the Grand Slam. They're a pathetic rugby nation. We should kick them out of the Lions and take the superior French lot instead.

This is a poor trolling attempt. I give you a C+. Can do better.

Surprised my login still works. How the hell is everyone? This thread brings me back to the equivalent one from four years ago.

Just to warn everyone that four years ago the backs were announced first and in alphabetical order so be prepared for:

"Josh Adams (Wales), Dan Biggar (Wales)....." Cue every non Welsh rugby fan thinking "Oh FFS here we go again"

I'd actually forgotten about that but rings a bell now, epic trolling by Lions that drove everyone to rage before they even finished announcing the team.

Good to have you back!

Really cannot get up for this announcement tomorrow. You just know there will be no real surprises, all the players will be established internationals, no left of field selections. I know thats the way it should be but I am old enough to remember Guscott in 89, Gibbs in 93 and Greenwood in 97.

Wish they would throw a few surprises in there but the selection will be as predictable as Gatland's kick and chase game plan.

Poor Hamish Watson
Brian Moore tells the story of how he found out through teletext. Think the players will know in advance these days but could you imagine knowing you'll be last to be read out and then never getting called?

Biggar said today on the Rugby Pod that you don't find out in advance, or at least, he hasn't.

Aye, Ellis Genge said you find out through the official announcement - I'm guessing this year is a little different as they've had to speak to/give notice to the extended player list to check their availability/intention to tour

Seen a bunch of retired players posting their invitation letters on social media today, I'm guessing they're sent out the day after the announcement (or courier delivered after the press conference?)

Thinking if there's a backrow spot left, and he gets to the end, 2 names to go... and says "Wainwright" ahahhaha

I'm hoping Warburton has come out of retirement. :p
Seen a few people talk about Wainwright as in contention. I do like him as a player but don't see how he can be chosen with the options there is for the back row. In the current Wales back row if everyone is fit he doesn't start, so how can you pick him over the likes of Ritchie and Curry that do?
