Wallabies rugby challenge for win baby, customer feedback has been fantastic, graphics are awesome, Morpheme gaming engine has been used, Jonah Lomu licensed, All Blacks and Wallabies licensed, Super rugby licensed, aviva premiership, itm cup, and 95 teams in total, as well as the ability to create hundreds of teams. Also, having added Unique Mario and Milla characters is pure awesomeness. Bring on September!

Didnt know they'd used the morpheme engine, that's sick. I can't wait for both gamessssssssssssss ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhrghghr. Need to see some gameplay footage

Morpheme is not a physics engine, it's an animation engine - not the same as backbreaker

People forget that there is newer screen shots of RWC11 on some of the forums, I would give them a look before actually making a major decision on which game is better,

To be honest, both look good ebough for no rugby games on this generation of console :)

Do you mean TRF forums, or other websites?

No, but please point out where I said it did...
I was just saying that, as a lot of people get the two confused as they're both produced by Natural Motion

I'm sure both Rugby ***les we be mind blowing,I wont be buying RWC2011 due to the fact i don't play online so a game with 20 internationals doesn't appeal to me.I will be buying All Blacks RC from E.B games retailing at $129.99 NZ dollars.RC provides me with a whole lot more in terms of longevity as i don't play online.
I will however hire RWC2011 to play from the local video store.

i will buy both, i have been waiting a very very long time for a rugby game to be released here in God's Country

(oh man one of then better have a N/A release)

Lets face it, we are all here because we love the game, and its great that we get 2 games in 1 year, but I am disappointed in both developers for the negative tactics that have been employed by HB and Sidhe, and would loved to have a complete game, that included the clubs as well.

I'm not sure what negative tactics you are suggesting we have engaged in.

The only negative tactic is getting Rugby 08, making a few gameplay tweaks and giving the graphics a once over, then charging $100 for it!!!

I'm gonna be getting both but IMO RC (I refuse to call it Rug Chug) seems to have a slight advantage over RWC11 as it looks as will have more longevity with more comps, leagues, teams, etc.. but no-one can claim one is better than the other as no-one but each firms development testers/game reviewers have played each respective game.

Have you played the game yet? Looking forward to seeing your review.

Exactly, I don't understand people who post about how the game plays without having played them 1st hand. Screenshots can be deceiving with regards to gameplay and final product graphics. Admittedly in comparison RC looks visually better but we are yet to see actual in-motion gameplay footage. There's nothing wrong with constructive criticism, its generally productive but running something down, technically blindly, is pointless. Don't turn this into the new FIFA/PES *****off

The irony being everyone who's commented about how the gameplay will be a waste of time because "it's identical to Rugby 08" due to it's a HB game (even though until a few months ago, Rugby 08 was still universially praised, - it's a funny old world) yet don't seem to apply the same rules when they point out the benifits of RC. You know, what a complete dog every Sidhe developed RL game is - They surely must be using the same crap engine as RL2 and just adding rucks! ;)

For all we know both could be excellent, both could be crap or a mix of the two. I'm inclined to believe what getofmeland told me about RWC11 because he has independantly tested it. Doesn't mean I'll like it though, I'll have to wait and see until I try it myself.

All the ones who say "well I won't buy/play ****le x*" because of their fanboism to each particular ***le are free to do so. It's their money, time etc. It's also their loss if they miss out. And their own faces their spiting to try and be the big "I am".

Haha, yeah. I could be completely wrong... but it does look similar from what we've seen. Especially that Line-out shot...
I'm still playing Rugby 06 (and lov'n it! :)). So if they game plays like that i will still be pretty happy, i would just like to see:
The scrums and line-outs improved a lot to make them more competitive and so that they would actually require a bit of skill/practice to get right,
The Set plays dramatically improved - the games flowed well but the set plays certainly did not,
The rucks need to be competitive and counter-rucking must feature and...
The AI needs a massive improvement - Elite from Rugby 06 was still extremely easy!

If all these things are reworked then it will be a pretty fun game, although from the looks of those screens the line-outs haven't been touched... As i said I could be wrong, and i hope i am. We wont really have a proper idea until we see the game in action though.

note: I'm not an HB basher, I'm just a massive Rugby fan and i want what Soccer/Gridiron fans have in a gaming sense. :)

slightly confused about your post, have they confirmed it's going to play exactly like 08?!??

What I mean by that is that nobody knows, only speculating clever-dicks are [strike]making the claim[/strike] trolling based on a couple of screen shots. As empty cans rattle the loudest, a few others who've recently shown interest have seen these comments by these so called "experts" and taken their opinions (trollings) as gospel. The Chinese whispers effect takes effect from there.

How you became a moderator/admin is quite perplexing to me. With comments as those, you'll find it hard-pressed to not be the instigator for the high amounts of trolling going on here!
