also this is brilliant news in the long run guys, i predicted that we may have our own pro evo v fifa war soon... ummm what does this look like???! Sidhe have got the graphics... HB might have the gameplay... might be getting a ***le a year, with hb and sidhe alternating, trying to out perform the other company... this could be awesome awesome!

looking at the pics, its almost embarrassing how much better rugby challenge looks.

BUT, there are a bunch of games out there that look cracking and the gameplay doesnt match up (I think most of us would take gameplay over looks in the long run?), so I think I'm going to wait and see some in game action to make my mind up.

But those photos do look pretty amazing...

I read somewhere that Hb studios had a really small budget to work with ?? I just wonder how big was Sidhe budget ? I guess the images that have been release kinda says it all.

I couldnt help but smile looking at the rugby challenge screens, they look epic. I hope for HB's sake they have got an ace up their sleeve in the graphics department; but what I care most about is which game actually plays and feels most like rugby - that's the clincher for me.

looking impressive so far whats the story with non super league club teams will they be included sorry if this has already being asked

Absoloutley awesome realism from the sidhe screenshots, was expecting it to be the other way around if im honest. The only things I would criticise them on (if you can call it criticising) is in the pictures alot of the boots look the same and the scrum looks very stable and controlled. Having said that if you took a picture of a scrum it would appear stable, its only watching the scrum you realise its like two 900kg bulls smashing into eachother :p Absoloutley epic overall from Sidhe. Now to compare them with the 'exclusive first images' from HB...

sidhe have said the screenshots are from three weeks ago and it's all been changed now.

I live in Germany and I keep showing people that dont know what rugby is SIDHES screenshots, trying to get them excited too....I even asked an Aussie mate who was playing in the SIDHE game shots, he looked closely, studied them hard and gave me the right answer....I was shocked. But not as shocked as he was when I told him they were picks from a video game.... good work SIDHE...

Sounds really good!

Interesting to note, though, that they don't mention PC on their list of things it's being released for

It says on the rugby challenge website that it is being released for pc, but not psp, maybe they just got them mixed up? sidhe has said its being released on the Sony Vita though

I find it interesting that we have had more response from Sidhe on TRF than HB who partnered with them!

Come on HB talk to us, cos Mario&Milla are bossing it with the talk and updates, without giving too much away, so why cant you?

However if HB's has Leeds in and Sidhes doesnt, than i declare HB the winner in Yorkshire!
