Super 15: Reds - Blues in Brisbane (13-05-2011)

Good on 'em - like both teams, so I'm not fussed who wins, just didn't want it to be so one-sided

Took Munro an age to get up off of the floor for his try, thought McAlister was going to have to drag him over the line

This one will be good I suppose the Blues showed that they are not going to take this one laying done. Half time brings the score not that far off 27-14 in the Reds favour.

The Blues scored their tries so easily at the end, what stopped them at the start?? Also i think there were a couple knocks ons leading up to the Blues second try. I think it was the second one..

It's hard to dislike the Reds even when they are shafting your team hard....Sharks need to take a lesson from these teams in how to play the expansive game succesfully, great to watch.

It has began great play this is truly a exspansive game, awsome try Blues

The momentum is back with the Reds that was a great try now the Blues will have to dig deep.

Oof the Blues making it hard for themselves now after that charge down try.

Ioani's been immense. Can't say the same for Rokocoko, it seems he either doesn't look for work or they don't use him enough. He's anonymous these days.

EDIT: AH damn Ioani deserved to get that try, oh well.

I really enjoyed this game was pretty intense last minutes of the first half leading to the rest of the game. With that well worked team try in added time it was the icing on the cake. It become less one sided and ended being an exemplary example of rugby with flair. Full time the Reds wins this game most deservingly being very skilled on attack. Hard luck to the Blues supporters they showed courage to come back and never died wondering during this match.

In the end Reds win with 6
Full time Blues 31 – Reds 37<O:p</O:p

Dissapointing.

We deserved to lose, we cant trail and make mistakes against a good side.

Full credit to the Reds, like a good side should, they made us pay for our errors.

Good game though just dissapointing last 10 mins.

Well done on Blues for getting 2 points after such a poor start

Ioane was bloody immense

i gotta say its not that bad getting 2 bonus points against a top of the table team in their home ground, always hard and i'm sure it would have been the same way if the reds were playing us in auckland, blues did well to come back and i think they should be happy to keep the points ticking over on the table

i gotta say i was impressed with radike samo too, he's really coming back and if he keeps performing like this he deserves to be back in the wallabies squad

Oh dear god!
I had like 100 on Reds to win by 7+ tonight! WTF McAllister, you just ruined that for me!
Not happy.

Ioane was immense, although the commentators as usual getting a little too juiced up over a player who's having a good game. Bloody Aussies going OTT yet again.
But as a neutral that was a fantastic game. Non-stop, and there was nothing that made you think the Reds were gonna run away with it at 24-0, i knew that the Blues were gonna come back into it. They just needed to get their hands on the ball.

I agree with everything.

But I was also feeling that the Blues couldn't win this... IMO the match has always been in Reds' hands, 2 of the Blues' tries came from a mistake and a lazy defence by Reds.
Too many anonyms players among the NZ side: Brett, Roko, McAlister... in the first half lineout was poor, and not a great match from the back rows.

In contrast to that, Reds backrows were great! Credit to Samo, I was a bit skeptic due to his selection at n8 over Leroy Houston.
