wow, watched the game in my sons this morning, had diner now, what's to say, well the first half can't really complain the second half however, why did we kick back to the aussies so much why not keep the ball and let them come at us to win it. I don't know seems a tactic as the same was done against Georgia if it is a tactic I don't understand why. some nervous moments, but a good win.

On a serious note I never critised England for being boring back then , yes I got fed up of them winning of course, they had the power game with the forward pack and an excellent disciplined set peice but they also had the most exciting back in j.robinson and they yet to replace him imo , that was the golden generation I just dont think this England team stacks up against that 2003 team but that's just my opinion . Again I state I never said or critised England as boring back then but just bloody clinical.

one does not simply replace Robinson, like one does not simply replace Shane Williams, having said that the styles have changed and I am not convinced either would get the same opportunity to do what they were so good at, if Wade was persisted with he could have been another one in that mould on the international stage.

It's all relevant tho , in all sports the best of their time but there's no argument with times and speed , Robinson is still the fastest back in England's history , Habana is still the fastest winger in SA history and lomu would still destroy anyone in this day and age and I'm convinced of that ! There's a golden generation and England have had it , Wales have half a golden Generation but to be called boring is just ridiculous , Sure Shane Williams would still be in this squad as although Josh isn't a shane he's aquitting himself well.

I think you miss understand my point I wasn't doubting they would be as effective, I think they would, more if they would be included in selection as there is more of an emphasis on size, North, big J, Stockdale etc.

exciting and good are not the same thing . . . wales are very good but they aren't playing very exciting rugby. I'd say they are playing smart rugby but smart rugby (or intelligent anything) isn't that exciting to watch. It's why people enjoy watching Fiji, they aren't great but you never know what is going to happen.
 
Happy to be corrected but did Hooper actually ground the ball on the line for his try? He looked short when the ball it the floor then Navidi held him up? They would have scored at some point there but didnt really see a grounding on the line. When he landed he was definately short on initial hit?

Aussi 12 and 8 had huge games today.

I would hate to see what would happen to Wales if Navidi got injured. I dont think it is fully appreciated just how much he does. He is Lions form Dan Lydiate with carrying and turnover ability.
 
Our world cup is over. I will genuinely support anyone but Wales. I've stubbornly supported rugby here despite the criticism but having seen such negative rugby easily dominate, why wouldnt I switch to league?

**** it. I hope the All Blacks absolutely stuff you and your anti-rugby.

Robinson's wasn't even fastest in many of his England squads for outright pace - that really wasn't what he was about. Fastest over 10m I'd accept, but not even close to fastest.

Fully supporting Wales in this one and I wanted it stopped. Same with any side, although I do appreciate the "professionalism" if my side are the ones doing it but for the sake of the game I want it gone.

I'm confused as to why you're still here, truth be told. I'm sure it's not about the attention.

Plenty of league forums out there to discuss the latest imports from England.
