I personally see it (& it's only my opinion of course) that people cast SO much shade at Wales, that when we beat them it hurts all the more because of it. Therefore in order to preserve their ego's and avoid taking a long hard look in the mirror, they manufacture 'reasons' that circumvents the inexorable part they played in their own pain.

But the other side is Wales are a good team they drag you into playing their game. I always feel England are playing at their worst against you because they get stuck into playing the game Wales want. If there's any introspection to be had it's to work it out and drag the game back to where you want it. We haven't managed it yet although as noted in the recent loss of the ref allows the Welsh to lie all over rucks it's becomes very very hard.

I didn't realise rugby was a brand , surely it's a game of 15 Vs 15 ? Sure it's tactics and gameplan that win you matches and Wales don't do too badly at that (grandslam2019) oops Welsh arrogance, but back on point does it really matter a game is about winning , Danny cipriani looks good does all the showbiz stuff but ultimately doesn't make it to the England team , who cares it's about winning and that mentality .

well although winning is the teams primary objective the majority of funding comes from fans who are fans for the entertainment so it's kind of chicken and egg, Wales certainly don't play the most exciting but they are certainly not the most boring, less exciting rugby is often what creates constant winning, look at Sarries they use to be accused of player thee most boring rugby ever, don't think that holds true so much now though.

none of this changes the fact that Wales were the better team and Aus were lucky not to concede a second intercept try, clearly didn't learn from the first one, Wales defence was unbelievable again.
