Wow, full credit to Wales, they played for an hour without arguably their most effective forward, their captain and lets face it, to keep a team on the back burner when you're a man down for an hour shows how deserving they were of a win. Sadly, it wasn't to be.
On the red card, IT WASN'T A RED CARD OFFENSE!!!!... Sure the rules clearly state that, but f*** me!, the rules also state that if a player drops the ball forward it's a knock on and how many times have we seen the ball get dislodged by opposition and it always gets called a knock on. For all those who are going on about, "It's the rules, Warburton was wrong", get over yourselves. There is clearly a BIG problem in terms of refereeing and the laws and as I've been saying all tournament. Controversial calls cost matches and Welsh are very unlucky, it was a damn yellow card offense and that's that. If they're going to be strict and truly enforce the laws BY THE BOOK, then do it with ALL the calls, make sure you've covered every f***ing law to the book, otherwise it's an injustice.
In saying that, Wales still could have won this match, Stephen Jones was terrible when he came on, and why he turned onto his left foot when he tried to droppy is beyond me. He wasn't forced onto it at all, he just looked really unco-ordinated, the way he took the ball, ran with the ball, passed, I think it was wrong to take Hook off.
The true match happens tomorrow and I can now say that whoever wins tomorrow should be awarded the cup right there and then
