Even if they played another 3 tests I don't think Aussie would win one. Cheika rode a wave last season with Pocock in the form of his life and England in turmoil under Lancaster. Nearly dropped that game to Scotland in the QF without Pocock and that showed their true colours, a team lacking in depth.

England Player of the Series: Owen Farrell. No explanation needed or any real competition. He has looked World Class. Honourable mentions to Haskell, Robshaw, Itoje, Billy and Ford. Great performances across the board.

Australia Player of the Series: Umm... Folau? Sure, Folau. Honourable mentions to... Hooper? From an England perspective, I thought Foley's kicking and Fardy's hands were pretty helpful.

While I'd hesitate to say Farrell is world class, at least we know he'll do at 12 against good sides.

Whether or not England will challenge New Zealand with him at 12 remains to be seen, but since we don't play them for a while we've got 18 months to look for an actual 12.

I see no need to change the Ford-Faz pairing. It's not exciting but it works. The commentators hit the nail on the head before the game, they've been playing together for so long through the age groups that they work together excellently.

Don't fix it if it ain't broke.

Watched the match..wow what a game of rugby ! Congrats to england 3-0 , both teams played they hearts out and fair play to england with the series in the bag they dug deep and got the win can't ask anymore , really wish they were playing NZ in the autumn because that would be some match one that I can't call 1 v 2.
