Fulltime:
England 30 - 17 Wales
My thoughts:
Tom James unlucky not to get that try, it did come off of him/not off of Care, but it came off of his chest not hand/arm (though commentators just said he knocked on as he went to ground it?)
Care had a blinder, shown why he started over Hodgson despite Hodgson having good AIs,
Haskell good with his two tries
Our scrum held it's own, Payne didn't mess it up too much, means we should be able to hold our own against Ireland and Scotland, and maybe even Italy. Though Tim Paynes aweful attempt at a tackle gifted Hook his try
Borthwick actually had a good game, good around the field and in the lineout, gave away a penalty, but it shouldn't have been one in the first place
Lewis moody was good in the ruck
Backs didn't really see a massive amount of ball, Monye made a good break or two, Cueto was good under the high ball and some decent kicks, Flood and Tait were pretty anonymous (apart from Flood giving away a penalty, and Tait involved in haskells second try), Armitage was decent, didn't drop anything, not amazing kicking though, though he was involved in Haskells try
Encouraging though, played a damn sight better than in the AIs, though still not as good as they could/should
